I'm 34, born in '84 and this is all my late mother and uncles used to play when I grew up. Also Big Huey and the Jackson Southernaires and Joe Ligon and the Mighty Clouds of Joy constantly was played on Sundays in our 🏡 home. It was uplifting encouraging music like this that helped us connect to Our Heavenly Father and learn of Him and His ways.

As a kid and young gifted musician,this group was a big deal in the 80’s. Then I remember Tragedy struck the group and how bad Mr Banks was hurt. I hope one day someone does a Bio on this group.
