FOR TODAY [Facedown Records] at CORNERSTONE FESTIVAL 2008 having some prayer and playing "Agape"!! This is from the show on July 3rd @ The Underground Stage for Facedown Records night. Great video/sound - www.myspace.com/fortoday
In 2008 right round when Eloisa came out I used to see them in a lot Jefferson South Dakota ( a town of like 200 people) and tickets were always like 5/10 bucks.
I am so happy I was able to finally make it this year. Every single band at facedown night was amazing. I think Sleeping Giant takes the cake, but that is my personal opinion. Do you any of you know if any video of Means was taken or placed up? I am already planning my trip for next year. Hope to see you all again.
yup you can, but we have to be careful that praising God is not about music or making noise. I am a musician and I know how notes and drums can make your emotions stimulated. The ecstasy in it is awesome, but that doesn't mean right. I have made research on this. It brought me back to the Corinthian's era, where all of this were already happening and was forbidden by the church. What we do today is exactly what they were doing. It was under the influence of secular worship, Apollo.
what if there is no music...try to praise God and be thankful, without music. Will there be a crowd to do that? What if you don't have sound system...no audience, just the group... I'd love to see them praying and worshiping God in an appropriate way. If they can do this way, they probably can do the opposite way...just maybe. Why there is no reference int the Bible using music and amphitheater for something like this? Amphitheater exist since 29 BC.
@csmdeg it ins't undr the influence of being secular, if u looked at their lyrics u wouldnt call it secular, all they do is praise God, and regardless, "We need to be in te world, but not of it"
thats why people are atheist man cuzz ur just tellin him your gonna change him? just pray dont call him a devil and try to control him because with our sin we are no different then a man in jail for murder every sin is just as bad as the next but with jesus he paid the ultimate price for all of us so we can walk through those gates to heaven
