Queen says no to pot-smoking FBI members the beatles - for you blue #thebeatles #johnlennon #paulmccartney #georgeharrison #ringostarr #getback #rehearsal
@@blackhorse11thACR I only wrote the first line of "For You Blue", you know that. I don't think this is an exaggerated clickbait, that sentence is still in the song For You Blue, no matter what year the song was remastered, it's still there. i know that will confuse some people, i wish they were listening to For You Blue, i didn't write that for diehard beatles fans, because they would know that line. So, it's just. Give Peace A Chance!
Greatest parts of songs need repeat . Sure beats picking up the needle and moving it back on the album. Hitting the button for repeat on CD player. Pressing the rewind button on the cassette player. 8 tracks never wear easy. Real to reals were slow but easy.
Did you ever hear a solo part in a song. Especially the riffs in a song that sounded the best. This was a short clip of George that shined. Why not repeat it several times in a row. Intertainment.
I’m pretty sure that they had just received a bunch of stuff from Fender…..like the 6 string bass John plays on “Dig It”, the Fender Rhodes electric piano, that John played on “She Came in Through the Bathroom Window” and the infamous 2ton Telecaster that George plays on the rooftop performance. The little lap steel guitar that John gravitated to was thrown in for good measure. All of this is shown in Jackson’s recent doco. Fender really wanted the Beatles to be seen playing Fender products. It was very difficult to get American musical instruments shipped in because of some restrictions the British government had in place that I don’t recall. Anyway, I’m saying all of this just to make the point that he didn’t buy it…Fender shipped all of the goodies to them for free.
John was very supportive of George on this one. Told the others in the room to be quiet while George played and wanted one more take in case he wasn’t satisfied with this one.
His son kicks ass in guitar. Check out Blood and Rocket by him and les Claypool. Fuckicking good . There's a video of it on RU-vid, search Blood and Rockets.
U can hear their upbringing & their exposure to the genres popular during the early to mid 20th century, this song like When I'm Sixty Four or Being for the Benefit of Mr Kite has a ragtime / Piccadilly busker sound too it , almost carnival like too...dah dunt dah dah dah dah dah dunt
I agree:) “For You Blue” is awesome. I’m also a huge fan of “Long, Long, Long”, also by George from the “White Album”. George’s Beatle songs really resonate with me, as do his post-Beatles’ songs. I think had George not been a full year younger than Paul and two years younger than John, I think John and Paul would’ve looked at George as more of an equal to them and they might’ve been more supportive of George’s songwriting and more receptive to George having a few more songs of his included on their albums, as opposed to the one or two “token songs by George” they “allowed” per album.
I love watching these little clips of Beatles recordings. There’s always someone drinking from a tea cup or tea cups laying around or clanging. Just so very English.
Me too. If time machines did exist, I would go here and listen to The Beatles sing or work on their songs. I would love to see everyone such as the boys, their significant others, George Martin, and Mal Evans.
I remember a Eureka! moment when I heard this song on my car stereo coming home from a guitar lesson. I could hear the chord changes and knew it was a 1-4-5. Played it when I got home. George & Co did amazing things with three chords when they weren’t writing mini-symphonies.
This shows how varied these guys could play and contribute and blend. The sound is so different from their other tracks. They were/are a unique band of talent. 👍😎🇳🇿🎸✨
As much as we can’t understand why, and hated to see them break up….it was the right time. They went out on top, didn’t wear out their welcome, and had been together playing since they were 14 and 15. That’s about 15 years. They had wives and girlfriends. Their lives were very different. It was just time and God blessed us with their magic for nearly a decade.
@@CB-xr1egtf is that silly question? No one's stopping the Beatles on their era, not even rolling stones, not even the beach boys. I'm not saying that their not great, they're great but not in the same level and same height of the Beatles. Until now they're being studied and talk about and it's already half a century. That says something which clearly you can't comprehend asking if they were really on top 😂 fucking stupid question you have there
