One of the most underrated wild fruits. Nannyberries are a native fruit shrub of Eastern North America related to highbush cranberries. After processing they make a sort of thick paste that taste a bit like prune butter and is fantastic in baking, made into butter like apple butter, as well as plenty of other things.
