I really like the ideas in here. The true love portion was elegant and simple. Very rewarding and easy for new players to grasped and feel accomplished.
Excellent! I love the story around the dungeon, complete with cursed love triangle! Pretty map as well. I love Forbidden Lands. Have yet to run it, but I have run other "Year Zero" engine games and they are fun! Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting adventure, Forbidden Lands is a great background for many different types of adventure scenarios. I really like the narrative focus in this one, harks back to the early TSR modules where players got much further when combat was a last resort rather than the first option. I think the way FL treats Undead as a "thinking" character rather than just a combat encounter is one of the most refreshing things about the system, this scenario really emphasises that.
Recently, I've been diving into everything "niche" TTRPG I can find on RU-vid, and it looks like you're next! I'm hoping to run an "abomination" game soon with rules, mechanics, and genres from a slew of systems I learn.
I love the idea of using Moldaney's notes when questions/events come up. Then you can make stuff up on the fly instead of wracking your brain on something that might never even come up.
Hey thanks! 🙂 Regarding notes- I certainly can do that! I'll need to scan in a better image. (The one I've got is kinda meh). I'll reply again here when they're added. 👍
@Flappyjacks OK, I just added my notes to the shared drive! They are still kinda meh. :-/ (Sorry about that). Maybe in the future I start typing them out??? LOL. :-)
It's actually not specifically designed for solo play, but it sure can be played that way! 🙂 The books have all sorts of great random generation tables. Tons of inspiration. The next book to release does have some solo rules included (the early release is out, but I don't have it yet). For my solo play, I just sorta wing it. 🤓
