I may not be a Burning Abyss player and maybe I play needle ceiling sometimes too. But this has got to be the best banlist predictions video I've seen so far. Every hit seems reasonable (though I don't know to feel about noids only because their f2p friendly). All in all I really liked this ghost. Keep up the good stuff man.
Pls don't ban expendable dai, it makes a bunch of other warrior driven decks much more consistent and competitive as well. But i'm totally loving the idea of putting both rematch and the atk boost to limit 1. Great video and banlist. 😁👍
Dai won't be touched. It's a perfectly balanced card. Lots of decks have destroy protection/outs for it, and you need to tribute to draw a card. Ice dragons prison on the other hand just needs to be taken out of the game. PTW traps will be this games downfall.
Also, i agree, konami eefed up purting ice prison and crackdown as box UR cards, these 2 will be super huge problems for the game, and unless they go back on their policy, they cant do shit to them.
Crackdown is kinda okay because it's continuous. But if you left it to me I'd take out crackdown, warning point and ice dragon prison, I would literally never get mad when I get hit with a similar backrow If I ran into it.
Konami should remove the d/d swirl slime and dark contract on the banlist becus they are no longer in the meta either so d/d archetype can keep up with the meta

Ok hear me out, loosen up on the nerfs and buff other decks! Konami has so many decks still on the back burner that they can completely change the meta just by buffing other decks
Mekk Knight Meta started bad, went worse and is now ending horribly (screw you, idp). I want secrets to get the chair BADLY, but if not the frisbee (indigo) and memories have to face some form of nerf. As for everyone else: Gouki could get the salad treatment on it’s spells as you propose, Infernity and Mermail Atlantean are most likely going to get something based on what they did in the KC Cup (Barrier and Dragoons or smth?) and for the love of god, if the Xyz Galaxy and 3 effects skills don’t get nerfed I will be pissed

No matter what I do, the gouki player will swing for game 😔 you can stop him, you can buy yourself a turn, but if you can't lethal, they'll come back and bite you in the 🍑 there's no running away from it 😂 This Mekk Knights bullshit also needs to stop 😔 My PKs are struggling. My Nekroz is struggling. My abyss actors are struggling (harder). Like goddammit man..
Infernity has to go launcher is limited/semi limited in every game other than duel links for a reason if you played enough in this KC cup you will know how f4cked up this deck is
So headbatt to 3 means gouki is not gonna be playing more than 1 ICP or Evacuation Device 🤔 that sounds okay to me although I’d love to see a much more meaningful nerf here
Really hoping mermail atlantean see a nerf because I don't see enough people talking about this deck. Definitely the sleeper deck that I hope the KCC has shed enough light on because noone ever proposes nerfs for it. It's NO SURPRISE that Abyss Dweller combo turbo is a problem, especially given how consistent it is
There is only 3 or 4 Decks in the game right now. Mekk Knights, Gouki, Musketeers, Salamangreat. Everything else just gets negated by those decks... Gotta look into Hand Effects to counter those decks but it pretty much negates all other normal playing decks. You cant play a monster, spell or trap they just negate it if you are turn 2. If they are turn 2 you can destroy 1 or 2 monsters but they got unlimited special summons and they dont really care if u destroy or negate 1 or 2 monsters with traps or effects.
I do agree with most of your opinion (especially galaxy please someone nerf it, its too boring). But I would say suprex should be the limit 3 target, cuz some people do play 2 headbatt cuz its not the best to draw if you open just 2 gouki names.
In my opinion: Best answer to mekk is to limit 3 memory, whisper, blue or/and purple. To gouki is to hit suplex and one of the spells to 3, remove the traps and consistency, and 3 effects can be hit, maybe making it only heal for the monster og atk. Infernoid should get decatron to 2, or decatron to 3 along with devyaty, to limit the amount of negations the deck can put on the board. Galaxy needs only to be slowed down, which is why i think the 4k beater part of the skill should have a lp requirement, 2500 or lower, because of cyc. Infernities, imo, the deck can be a problem in the future, like you said, multiple trishulas are a problem, but being able to make big "nope" board isnt really that impresive in duel links, what they could do is put the counter trap to 1 to clash with trish. I dont thing needle needs a nerf, and i cant talk about mermail since out of all these decks, its the only one i havent finished making, im literally missing 1 card of every box that it needs, except for the new sr, which i didnt Splash not even 1 gem in that box other than the cleric. What i also think needs a limit is the galaxy xyz pack, 3 to Blade and full armor. And for cards out of the ban list. Crystrons, karakuri, and marten or green birb.
This video had me laughing quite a few times, and it's because I understand how the meta is annoying and needs a complete change. They've nuked the meta before, and I think it's time to do it once again.
I heavily disagree with ghost Engle points, however mech knights and it's column movements are annoying. I had results to playing back row shiranui to negate and tribute my monsters to destroy their link two or skill drain inspired trap.
I think it's too much if they ban expendable dai because the box is not that old so they still want milk your money also look at karma cut, raigeki break, ballista squad which is more generic but they never hit it. That extra draw 1 is good but most of the time your opponent will send to GY/banish chain the targeted card so you won't get extra draw from Exp. Dai because the text said "and if you do, draw 1 card". Overall, I agree with your most prediction.
i remember seeing discussion of how limit 2s aren't as big of a restriction because Econ moved to limit 1s, and i wonder if maybe putting ice dragon's prison to 2 would fix that but.. i may be biased too, mostly f2p account that got 2 so it would feel like i got ripped off of like ~5k gems but ig that isn't too uncommon with duel links 😔 Do think staying at limit 3 on Ice Dragon's prison is too much tho, but it would suck if it even goes to 1 for me since it would have too much competition in my decks, but if it's for the best then that's fine
Not trying to be an ass, I definitely understand that getting two UR copies just to have it taken away sucks, but you literally have two non target treacherous trap holes. It should have never been in the game to begin with. No other trap even comes close as far as removal.

Yeah I can see that, maybe it should just be finishing move to 1 with Headbat to 3, or another combination. I really don't think the consistency needs to be hit, just their Limit 3's and yeah, finishing move
I just wanna play starry knights and really hope that raidraptors are good when they come out. With goukis and mekk knights terrorizing the meta I doubt my birb Bois can impact it at this rate. Nerf galaxy eyes and give ciphers a skill
As a tcg raid raptor player no its not good for duel links. Even if they were their power level will be close or maybe even lower than current dragon link deck
Like Salamangreat never pissed me off. I mean yea, recovering Roar with Gazelle is broken... but you know what's more broken: Not able to activate Spell cards or monster effects WITH A DAMN MEKK-KNIGHT IN THE SAME COLUMN! To think Mekk-Knight- No, I always knew in the back of my head that when Mekk-Knights become a thing in Duel Links; they'll kill the meta. AND OH BOY... This was much worst when you give them Nightmares. And this is not the worst part, Mekk-Knights are splashable in other Cyberse Decks and THAT makes them MUCH worst! Every time I see a Kite or a Mekk-Knight deck, I just cringe and surrender if my hand is not enough or not good enough. There's no point! I hate losing to damn UR Meta deck! Purple Nightfall should be 2 and Secrets BAN or pff, something. I just don't want to see Mekk-Knights anymore. Goukis are fun, I just wish I could get the cards but again SUPREX IS UR so it sucks. SIGH... Infernoids needs Void Feast to hit 2-3. I don't mind the skill of Xyz Galaxy... LIMIT GALAXY ZERO AND WIZARD TO 3, Reborn Shuffle to 2 along with Cipher Blade and Full Armor. THAT'S IT. Fuck this constant deck. Territory of the Sharks is an easy fix... only Xyz monsters. Done. It's also very funny how Treacherous Trap Hole used to be a threat but now Ice Dragon's Prison is too OP.
Are you new to the game? Konami doesnt hit UR box cards to 2 or 1... They will never put purple, shuffle reborn or full armor to 2. Also, mekks cant negate both spells and monster effects, you cant run whisper and secrets in the same deck, they are limited to 1.
And the old gouki box was in the half gems sale where you could buy packs for 25 gems each, that ended on the 20th, so yeah... You missed a good opportunity to get them.
@@neonoah3353 I actually was going to buy that box... but I had 2 problems: I didn't want to pull anything else but the Gouki cards and I didn't have any gems left after trying to get Rokkets.
limiting the Void Feast to 1 is not as effective as it seems, because you will still have 3 Void Vanishment which is the seeker and the cost to use the Feast, so the best here would be to limit the Vanishment to 1, this would force you to run one lots of bad Void spell/traps if you want to have Feast alive in your deck yet
For some reason every streamer seems to say calling for GE nerfs is a reddit opinion, but it for real has been too annoying for too long. I get that in a best of 3 format you just side crow/idp and call it a day, but in best of 1 format(like ladder, how most of us play the game) it will just sack you. Really hoping they hit that skill, maybe give it the rose dragon and mekklord treatment where you only get to activate one of their effects in stead of both
