Forbidden Planet - FUN Store in NYC - Sci-Fi, Comics, Movies, Star Wars, Trek, Collectibles 

Hi Joe, this video made me feel very nostalgic. There was a Forbidden Planet shop in the city of Leeds, where I spent the best part of my youth, and I was a regular visitor. Some years before, when I was in my teens, I used to pay regular visits to a Forbidden Planet-type store called 'Odyssey 7' in Manchester. That was during an intense period of Trekker-dom I recall. I haven't read too many graphic novels, but I can make a couple of recommendations although you may already have read them. One is Alan Moore's cult classic 'Watchmen' (of which there was a movie a while ago, which I never saw), and the other is the Alan Moore version of Swamp Thing, which you can buy in a couple of collected editions. They are absolutely astonishing. Cheers for now, James

Hi Joe : That store is indeed awesome . I was very interested in the age range of the customers/ browsers. From the young to the middle age crowd I would say . You may know this but Vulcan Alberta has a Star Trek museum . It's a small town with a big name you could say . Anyway , thanks for the tour and another glimpse into your creative world .
