I'm sitting here listening to this and I can feel tears welling up in my eyes. Look around the world today... there's just so much grim darkness and hatred everywhere. Listening to this takes me back to a time of happiness and love I almost forgot existed. I would love to go back, just for one day.
Omg you are so right. The world has gone mad. I try and make people understand how raves were and what they meant but unless you have been nobody will ever get it
@@claudioaguilera3966 Mate I'm chilling out in quarantine and always come back to this track, almost brings a tear to my eye too, and we're a similar age!
Recently boxed up my 150+ hardcore cd collection to sell but listening to some of these old school classics made me change my mind and unpack them again.
Produced By DJ's Force and Styles with vocals by Jenna. Accept NO substitutes, and no loads of teens love this stuff, but they usually listen to the "Rankin" and "Cammy" crap!! This is the Origional and by far the best.
I used to listen to this when I went out mountain biking in the full moon up fyrish (a small mountain in the highlands of Scotland) and I did it in winter..... it gives me that strange little feeling in life.
This is the all time best Happy Hardcore song! When people say music represents the social milieu... nothing illustrates how society has changed more than happy hardcore imo. Listening to it nowadays just doesnt even feel right....the world is so self obsessive and aggressive compared to those days. Its hard to believe that talking about emotions and tender feelings towards others and humanity in general was actually considered cool back then. The modern world totally sucks in comparison, even if your making the best of it.
Blame the people who run the media for that. The media pretty much controls the zeitgeist, and the people in charge knew that an aggressive world full of fearful, hate-filled people would be more reactive and generate them more money than a world of happy people. And so they engineered society to be more angry, scared and hateful.
nothing like this could ever happen again, and I even knew it at the time, when I was there in those warehouses and fields I recorded every moment into my memories, so they would be treasured forever
CORONA 19 whatever 1997 tunes till i die. And if that is now. I'm happy to die. We had it all. We still do 😁😁 rave on to the next life. Thanks breeze and styles
This was before clacton and Ipswich collaborated lol mark was doing his thing but as this made waves (pun intended due to Oscars being on the pier) is was to young to have gone but got to know all about from guys who was there and met his Darren's dad at a gig once but force and styles paved the way I like breeze too but pioneering the scene Paul Hobbs has it
I heard Force & Styles play this... oh, like 18 years ago or something, for the first time. I'd known and loved the track for a long time before. I made my own moment. I was a liquid dancer, so I usually got a decent amount of space, but, this night, I just kicked everyone away so I could have some dance floor. "It's a matter of fact and it's plain to see/the love that burns inside of me/I'd like to lead you back here by my side/These memories might never last/a broken dream held from the past/and a passion that is lost within my mind." It's like I knew. And I did know.
played how it was ment to be played -happy hardcore track through and through this and this is where it will be in my collection as this is the only way to listen to this track not the best track in the world but if i went to a happy hardcore night i would still be bouncing to this one
omg hair stood on end. legs trembling.this was the street ecstasy ravers song in moredon swindon. love to all my motedon boys and gals from back in the messy era
Finally! one that isnt too fast. although i didn't really like this one by them at the time it is all about the bit at 1:23, at the raves at skelter/dreamscape/hardcore heven all the people used to blow thier whistles at the deep honk stab noise and it was a good buzz to see that then.
@rudecatfeet -Yes Fucking Do It!!,its about time some decent originals were uploaded.I look forward to hearing them!People should be reminded were these tunes came from shame most of the kids now days think they were all made by flip and fill or ultrabeat or cascada or something like that!!! oh dear, nevermind ey!
lol peeps saying hardcore is dead it was underground then the mainstream stole it. now its back where it belongs uk hatdcore still is alive and kicking HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE
