You can change power steering to newer version by paying ca.16-20k, if you want this change, your choice. This will make your power steering almost like a car. Initial lots have smaller power pumps due to which steering is hard. I carry 2 wheel bearings and a CV boot set, for just incase. Keep some wheel bolts, Gurkha's bolts have less of bolt depth and high chances of Spanner slip, if not careful. It is wheel bearing quality that is an issue, maybe a bit due to your more rough terrain usage but primarily it's Vendor quality, unless you find reputed replacement high quality stuff. Get rear Stabilizer clamps which are missing in earlier versions. If you tell gerage, they will know. These are additional clamps on rear stabilizer which holds it in position. Fuel average varies a lot, just like you said between 7-12kmpl in my case but I did not buy this truck for fuel average. In your case, also check all rubber bushes, like stabilizer etc, These do make ride quality difference and don't cost much. Good you got Bumper stop welded with addnl support. Must have it painted as rust will set in very fast due to raw Iron. Infact, get 3M underbody coating asap. Lower turning radius is a HUGE+ for Gurkha. Do not use any Diesel additive in BS6 engine unless some very specific one which are meant for BS6 engines. BS6 sensors are very sensitive to any additive. You may have noticed that most issues are not related to engine and transmission etc. It's the Vendor quality of the periphery that needs regular checks and maintenance, like rubber hoses, water channels, Clips and joints or AC filter etc. Suggest make a list of all such issues and check-mark every time you go to garage. on frame @4:14 the tyres definitely look worn out. I had alignments defect since delivery and my front tyres got worn out within first 5k kms. My camber bolts were defective. So your point on checking the alignment is spot on as the tread on tires are evident. Get them replaced as per your earliest convenience.
