Man the force MD’s stay in rotation on my playlist. I used to think these were hip hop singers growing up . My older cousins used to have they music bumping all the time . Rip to all the fallen members . I’ll keep the memories alive 2024 and here I go again !
Very true but according to the RR Hall of Fame ....they had to have released their 1st record 25yrs earlier and have created music whose originality impact and influence changed music....dont shoot the messenger y'all(me)😂😂😂
I went to school with these guys and remember them singing in the park all the time. Great memories frm the Force M.D.s R.I.P to the one's we lost........PEACE.
You so damn lucky. I was born in ‘89. How we go from this to “buss down thotiana” ??? 🤦🏽♀️😩 When I watch music videos from the 80’s and 90’s, especially from all male R&B groups, it just makes me wish that I was born sooner to live that life and really appreciate good music😂 And the women were so naturally beautiful. For some odd reason, the fashion, music, tv shows, & overall aesthetic looks like y’all had no worries and life was genuinely fun.
They were one of the best groups around, I remember in middle school in 86-87 I loved hearing the sounds of force md's, I'm so saddened that most of the members have died. R.I.P
They were not under appreciated or underrated. We all knew they had the best vocals in the game. The group just didn't sustain! Members changing, and conflict, similar to Blackstreet! Those boys in that group could blow too! Again, problems with management and producers ruin some great music for the 90's. As great as 90's were, it could have been 20x's better!
That's for sure, they wouldn't even induct them into the hall of fame , they sang a hell of alot better than some of these idiot celebrities !! TC had the sweetest voice, I have ever heard, but the rest of the guys were excellent too !! You keep Tristan, TC will always have a special place in my heart ❤💙💜 !!!
@@tazlaurieoldmusic3214 I agree the Force MD'S should be inducted in the hall of fame, they are a great group. I would love to see the surviving members Stevie D & Khalil get the recognition that this great group deserves while they are still alive. They are still performing in 2022.
This group will always have a special place in my heart ❤️. I still listen to them today. I'm sadden by the fact that 4 of the original members passed away. I am glad that Stevie D and his brother Khalil is still performing in 2022 along with their nephew Zieme. Force MD'S for life.
Force MD's produced some great R&B infused with the early stages of hip hop but their slow jams, including this classic, "Tears" and "Tender Love" were unmatched.
Back in the day when artists didn't have to get butt naked to serenade a woman. Just had the talent command you through their vocals.... I think what makes these guys so incredible is that they began as a HIP HOP group that RAPPED primarily. All it took was one song, and that was it...they were officially an R&B group who's vocals could rival the best of them. Classic song by a legendary group! Too bad so many members are deceased.
Dia Akin .THESE BROTHERS REMINDED ME OF MY HIGH SCHOOL DAYS OF THE LATE 60S AND EARLY 70S WHEN WE JAMMED TO GROUPS LIKE (BLACK IVORY) ( BLUE MAGIC) (THE CHI LITES) ( THE STYLISTICS)( THE SOUL GENERATION)( THE MOMENTS) ETC. ETC. AT A TIME WHEN HIP HOP WAS TAKING OVER AND GOING STRONG, THESE YOUNG BLOODS WERE BRINGING BACK THAT SWEET SOUL SOUND. WHOOPS!!! PARDON ME. HOW COULD I LEAVE OUT THE (DELFONICS).!!!!!
Damn damn damn damn I grow up in the 80,s I still listen. He sounds a little bit like Smokey Robinson. The mannnnnnnnn this song is making me forget the generation .

Hi Jesse this is a fan of the group since 1985 as a five year old little girl. I love all of y'all's music and I love the emotion I feel when I hear your songs. May your music and legacy live on Forever...It makes me so very sad that you and your squad cannot be together again on this Earth but I hope you guys are reunited in Heaven... FORCE MDS FOREVER...♥️♥️♥️
Only one member Left. Thank you Allah for blessing the black community with these brothers and their music. May we cherish their legacy and memory always.
Oh my gosh.....I'm so glad to have found this song in RU-vid. I miss this song, it makes me nostalgic missing the good ole days and music at that time.
This was OUR SONG of the Hip Hop Generation.... Still brings tears to my eyes thinking of the old days.... Jheri curls, straight leg Lee jeans, fresh polo shirt and a nice gold chain before the dookey ropes became popular and a pair of fresh sneakers..... Music, dancing, cars and girls but Reagan in office.... Ahhh the 80's
TC could sing his ass off! 80’s version of Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. Saw them in concert back in the day, he sounded as good in person too! RIP
That damn harmony!!!! Gets me every time ❤️ RIP TCD, Mercury, Trisco, and Jessie. Love ya’ll so much. I’m still so sad that I never got to see them in their prime live before the passing of so many. I did see them as a trio in 2012 and 2015, however. My heart 🙏🏽
Everyone has clothes on and lookin good!!!! None of that skinny Jean mess.. pants hanging off the butt garbage. ....Ahhh the 70's, 80's and 90's were the best. ..Calgon....take me away!!!!!
Force Md's story needs to be told in a biopic thatll be so amazing and dope, they deserve more recognition period, especially for who they were and the music they made.
WOW, 11th grade at Phoebus High School. We use to have dances on Friday night during B-Ball home games. Miss those days 1986...those days will never come again. Music, fashion, and just the innocence of the times. We didn't know how good we had it back then!! I feel like the old heads from back in the day when they use to hear the Temptations from the 60's!! LOL
