Hey, Neon White player here, thought I would take this chance to recommend this game to anybody who sees this video and considers getting it. We have such a lovely community and the game is even more addicting than it looks so we would love to see as many new faces as possible following this video!!

It's so in character for Void to beat Alpha's times the first time he picks up the game though.

As a top player this is really fun and entertaining ^^ It's always cool to see peoples different approaches to stages.

Alpharad’s Chris McLean arc seems to be growing even more.

Genuinely if there were Neon White speedrun racing events I'd be down for Alpharad to be the "main" community commentator, that'd be sick. He knows this game and knows how to engage us in it.

I HIGHLY recommend anyone who has the time to go watch the stream vod for this video. Watching everyone figure out the strats in real time was a treat.

My brothers and I have been laughing so hard about how it seems half of these comments are regular Alpharad viewers, but then the other half is every Neon White player formally handing you their business card and telling you they're always hiring. I've never seen such widespread polite-yet-manic enthusiasm before.

I'm seeing a lot of people talk about psychological torture, but honestly it just looked like they were constantly improving and having fun

I like how given that Alpharad shows everybody's time at the end of each level, viewers can also set up a 10 minute timer and see how they place if they were also hypothetically part of the tournament.

At this point I think Void has figured out ai learning as a human. How is somebody this good at everything they do.

Hey :D Neon White player here :3 i just wanted to say this event was extremely cool for the community. I remember spending the evening making bets with the others whether Void or Weegee would win. Thank you Alpha for making people aware of our fun silly speed game :D

AHHH, it’s so good to see people acknowledge this game, it was the first game I ever beat to 100%, and it was genuinely such an experience for me, learning all the routes, figuring out speed strats, everything it was honestly life changing cause it changed how I viewed the world. It was cause of this game that I had actually stopped my own suicide, I just enjoyed it so much that it made me forget how much time was passing and before I knew it, it was a week past the date I planned to end it all, and I’m so glad that I’m still around, cause now I got watch one of my favorite RU-vidrs make others play even just a small bit of the game that saved my life. Neon White saved my life so I’m glad others get to experience this amazing game

When the game was first announced, I was hyped as hell and to see one of my favorite content creators show off this to more people makes me so happy. Neon White will always be in my top 10 games of all time

As someone with a top 10 run of the *SUPERIOR* rush mode in this game, I agree whole-heartedly. PLEASE BUY THIS GAME. I was never interested in speedrunning ANYTHING before this. It's just so easy to think that "Oh I can do better" and that feeling of accomplishment when you do is so addicting

This stream was amazing, loved seeing them all slowly figure out the game, their reactions to first discovering the abilities was amazing

Neon White was actually really good, didn't expect to fall in love with a speedrunning game since im not a very competitive person by nature, but this kinda awakened something in me, to keep trying to push the times, send a screenshot to the friend that got me to play it and an image of Kiryu from yakuza flipping him off, telling him to get on and beat it xD good times

This video is what got me into Neon White (though admittedly several months later) and it’s so fun to come back and watch how everyone approaches it. I know it’s not in the spirit of the tournament, but I would have loved to see how the players that got eliminated early handled the later levels.

This whole tournament was such a treat to watch the whole way through, and I’m only realizing now this upload was an awesome birthday present to have 🎉

Watching this makes me want to replay Neon White. Such a great game, especially when competing with friends

Alpharad playing Neon White is just the unstoppable force meets the immovable object… if the immovable object was a difficult game, and the unstoppable force was a sweaty streamer… and meets meant grinds…

Usually, I don't like first person games, don't like shooter games, and _hate_ first person shooters. But this game actually looks INSANELY fun, I might just have to try it out

I'd been following this game since its announcement in a Nintendo Direct, but seeing Jo play this on stream a few weeks after the Alpharad Gold video was what made me cave in and get this game. Getting red medals on everything feels amazing, and for once grinding feels fun. Good game :)

Absolutely adore Alpha’s description of Glass Port. My first playthrough was practically an exact description. PLEASE watch the vod to see the strats develop in real time.

This was one of the most fun Alpha Rivals to watch, just seeing every player learn the game as they progressed through their runs was so fun and seeing things like Weegee starting to learn a bunch of stuff early on and Void… being Void… was so fun to watch in real time.

i've been really into neon white lately, playing it on every device i can download it onto, and of course watching every video on it i can. seeing alpharad upload this stream on his main channel was such a delight, and i hope it inspires more people to get into this amazing game and inspire a renewed community behind it because i desperately need more friends into neon white

I remember watching this live this was such a banger stream, if you have extra time on your hands I recomened finding the vod it was such a banger.

If I were to ever suggest watching the vod of a vid it would be this one. Watching them figure the tech out slowly and improve on their times was well paced, very tense and enjoyable.

I watched the VOD for this back when it happened and was absolutely shocked I had watched the full thing with rapt attention. I end ed up getting the game and playing the whole thing going for the full ending. So glad this game was introduced to me. Gotta go fast.

Dude I love this game so much. A friend played the game before me and I decided to be a kind and respectful person and beat every single one of their times. That’s when I found out about Red Medals. I proceeded to unlock every Red Medal in the game. Genuinely one of the best times I’ve had with a game like this.

Now that I finished this game, got the true ending and neon rank 1, MAN am I happy I watched this video and the game was on sale at the time, what an AWESOME ride!

Also yes please get this game and replay the levels. I’m not a big fps guy but this game is just so fun.

I got hooked after hearing machine girl made the music cause i loved them for other content. I saw you play this on alpharad gold originally, and it was right before i started my real grind for the game. I had hit top 700 global before i stopped but i eventually still want to get all dev aces in the game. I thought you had a mainline channel video already that id commented on!! Maybe it was the gold video, either way i hope the event was a blast, and thank you for showing me dream swing as well lol

another game i randomly found on steam thats quite similar to this is called cyber hook, the artstyle's a lot more vaporwavey though

This game seems fun to play! Its like you are playing games of cards but in a platformer. Very entertaining! I wonder if the game will still function even when all the item you can get are farm based. That'll be kind of fun.

Please please PLEASE have more challenge videos like this for Neon White, it's such a phenomenal game

I walked into Neon White the day it came out with absolutely 0 expectations because I just happened to find it on the steam front page. What I got was an experience that I'll probably never get again. Music 10/10, Gameplay loop 10/10, Vibes 11/10. I had never played a "speedrun" game like this before, and I'm so glad I started when the game came out. Every map I would try to get top 100 at least before moving on, and I don't think you could really do that anymore without putting hundreds of hours into gameplay mechanics or exploit practicing. Edit: Great video, loved every second of it

Neon White is absolutely among my favourite games of last year, it's just a RUSH in the best way possible. And this tournament was also a blast to watch; I was on the edge of my seat a few times (plus I was alerted to shortcuts I didn't know about before).
