I'm an NYU reject too. I ended up going to Syracuse and it was the best thing that has happened to me! I realized NYU didn't really have my interests; I just wanted to go for the name. I ended up declaring a double major in forensics, which NYU doesn't even have. You'll go where you belong, and this is the universe's way of telling you NYU isn't for you.

I know it feels like the worst thing that could ever happen but your school doesn’t define who you are or how valuable you are. Love you girl 💛

I got into NYU but actually ended up choosing a smaller, private school in Seattle. I got a full ride there and it was a better fit in general. Let's just saying getting into NYU, relishing in a week of excitement, and then getting hit with an 80k annual bill was not it! ;D

Girl , here is something I always stick by " everything happens for the good " basically , this means that whatever happens in life, whether it's good or bad , it happens for something better , so if something bad has happened then there is obviously something great waiting for you . And it's not only for erica but for everyone

a school is just 4 brick walls with a logo slapped onto it, it's the people that are in and around those four walls that make the school experience for what it is and I'm 100% convinced that where ever you will go it'll fill your life with just as great moments and memories as nyu would have done

As a newly minted nyu grad - literally the best part abt it is being a young person struggling in NYC! So you can always make that happen whether thru other awesome NYC schools (new school/hunter/etc) or in the future!
