what a character arc! from 'i played for five minutes then uninstalled' to dancing his heart out to Alhaitham's theme as a cold open. my favorite thing about these genshin reaction videos are watching people fall in love with the music for the first time, that was fantastic to watch and put a smile on my face! i'm so glad to see both of you so enjoying yourselves :D it was great to see so much love for the S tier and A tier characters, and i really can't argue against any placement on this ranking! and i was happy to hear Yaoyao being placed in the 'good child' tier with Nahida, she's a great unit and also an absolute darling. made my day to hear that he's giving the game another chance, i hope he enjoys everything genshin has to offer on his second try of it! i know it's probably too much to ask that we get gaming videos of his first impressions, but maybe we can hear his impressions after the fact at some point? i'd love to know what he thinks of the big story beats, especially as they start pushing the envelope story-wise (ie Shenhe's story quest, the duel before the throne and confrontation at tenshukaku, sumeru archon quest in general, fontaine story quest in general). in one of your previous videos, you asked the comments for suggestions for good mondstadt songs, since you couldn't think of many that stood out. i agree that mondstadt's music, while pretty, has the least 'stand-out' tracks; unfortunately the region does just suffer from 'first-released-world' syndrome. your request _did_ inspire me to go through the mondstadt released OST, though, and pick out some of my favourites that might interest you for a future video! it also inspired me to go through the entire OST and figure out which region has the most music i enjoy! but that's gonna be a _lot_ longer before that project's done... there's _so many damn songs_ in this game... *Suggested Mondstadt Tracks* _Eternal Anamnesis_ -- Probably the most involved of the 'main theme' arrangements, and one of Mond's daytime themes. _Slight Distress_ -- A melancholy tune peppered throughout the game, but often associated with Venti's Story Quest, and Stanley. _Forsaken Child of Ancient Times_ -- I remember this being the song that finally gave me pause to listen and pay attention to how beautiful this soundtrack is. With every region, I just keep being more and more impressed, but this was the first that made me go 'holy shit. this game is _free?'_ _Against All Odds_ -- Does Spiral Abyss count as Mondstadt? I'm counting it. This track's slow build towards its intensity does a fantastic job of mirroring the slow but steady increase of difficulty as you make your descent, ever-closer to the Abyss' end, hitting wall after wall only to push through regardless. Ad Astra Abyssosque indeed. _Riders of the Wind, Onward_ -- Dvalin's bullethell prelude, which of course could always be followed up by Dvalin's main battle theme! If you have the freemos to try it- go for it! If not, keep saving for the next char, weapon you want. Ayayaya is popular so it’ll come back
@@supremenugget5433 best in slot is unfortunately blizzard strayer. if you can't get 4 piece blizzard you can try 2 piece blizzard, 2 piece nobless but i wouldn't exactly recommend it. worst case scenario 4 piece exile. you can passively try to farm it in the strong box (thats how i got 3 out of 5 pieces). for weapons just go fav sword (5* options are misplitter and jade and 4* are PLENTY. blackcliff, kagotsurube isshin, kageuchi(dps) sapwood, ferryman (support). but for your sanity just go fav). honestly kaeya shouldn't be a high investment character if you're using him as a support. try to get good energy recharge, atk% and crit rate and you're golden. if you have 4 piece blizzard and c1, you need even less crit rate from artifacts!
Mondstadt is the german area. Though id like to think Mondstadt is the land of fairytales. Full of germanic based fairy tale characters The qiqi slander pfft she scales off atk and at c6 is the only character who can revive multiple team members when they're dead. This is so helpful in spiral abyss and in co-op! So i 100% dont see her as the worst 5☆ in the game. Shes a pretty good healer. Sayu is voiced by lilypichu! If you know who she is shes a streamer and in offlinetv! Thoma's jp va voices ichigo- Gorou is a very great geo support pfft. I really enjoy him as a character Collei! You may wanna read the genshin impact web comic for her backstory. Its a pretty good comic~ Dori has a sad Backstory but she turns into such a sucky character in terms of story. Candace's theme is one of my favorite 4☆ tracks. Faruzan is an anemo buffer. Very useful for anemo dps'. Yaoyao my child!! She was one of the first couple genshin models made that we've seen. It took about 3 years before she was finally released and shes a very good dendro healer! Mika, many do hate him for his voice. But his jp va is boruto's va and it fits him very well. He is also a physical buffer. So very useful with eula. He is from mondstadt so shows why his music is like that. Kaveh, the detroyer of worlds- (that was a glitch) such a great dendro bloom dps. And also gets healed from dendro cores. Kirara, i really want her but I have yet to get her. Her skill allows her to climb up walls better. Freminet MY SON! He can be built as a cryo dps, physical dps, or as a hybrid of both! He is very strong. And is apart of the trio of lyney and lynette. His music actually gives me aquatic base vibes from sonic 06. Yeah Charlotte is so fun to use. Its hilarious how she takes pictures as her attack and shes funny to build as a dps. I believe she scales off atk and she is both a healer and a cryo buffer. If paired with teamates from fontaine she gets a healing buff, And if paired with others from anywhere else she increases in cryo atk But yeah the 4☆s are all very good if built correctly but many people dont try because it can take a lot of work. Even for those who didnt impress him i do reccomend all the 4☆ to be tried atleast once. Take a look at their kit and see if itd be useful or fun. Or even someones story may catch your attention because the 4☆ trailers dont give us any backstory on them, which suck pfft. But yeah thank you for checking out the 4☆s!
Alloy was put into the game because hoyoverse had to make a deal with Sony for either cross play or cross save so she’s basically put into the game with no event just for the deal alone. Alloy also came with an exclusive bow that can only be equipped on PlayStation
I'm still impressed by how much the animations have improved (Demos for 4 and 5* and even the in-game cutscenes) Looking to the first ones I just feel like: Comparing Kaeya's to Charlotte's is day and night despite both are 4*
Alright he may have slandered Kaeya but he put Dori in F so i think it equals out in my books XD Edit: i will never understand why they went with that voice direction in the EN dub for Mika, he is an introvert and socially anxious in the other languages and in EN they really said "so you see the nerd emoji? yeah thats what we want from you"
They really fucked Mika's VA over for that voice direction,I'm pretty sure he can do better but he probably just did what the department told him to do Mika grew on me tho so I don't really care anymore
How people view nerd voices is really odd to me. I think of them as either extremely shy and incapable to back themselves up, or they're extremely condensing when you're dumber than them. But most people seem to just think of them as having a lisp.

@@fluorescent_shrimp I'd say she heals for most by far, but at a certain point it's not needed + the energy problems (those can be fixed if you run her with double cryo tho and her ult lasts a long ass time) the main problem is the fact that she does nothing else and doesn't even apply very much cryo, - someone who used to main qiqi as my dps cause I didn't no better and she was my first 5*
Ngl i'd say jean is a better healer than qiqi. Full heals the entire team instantly, then leaves a field with more than sufficient healing for your active character

Monstadt is more of inspired by northern Europe (Norway, Sweden and Finland are one of the most happiest countries in the world and considered free), but mostly Germany. Just like how Fontaine is inspired by Western and Southern Europe(Italy, UK, Belgium, etc.) , but mostly inspired by France, and Sumeru is mostly Egyptian and Indian Inspired, but also includes those of western asia and Middle Asia.

I don't think rating child character demos purely based on their character model rather than on how the demo was done was fair. Genshin is treating child model characters with way more respect than you did.

As a Qiqi main, the slander is wrong. She really isn't a bad character and if so many people didn't lose their 50/50 to her then I'm sure more people would like her. She's a great healer, especially if you don't have Kokomi. I prefer her over Barbra too, mainly because he healing scales off atk and she can keep up with Furina's health drain. I'm sure Barbra can too but I like my cryo.
8:00 show the character's personality then fischl's should be fine, you definitely get a preview of how she acts around other people in the voicelines with oz in it too, and it's not just gameplay there as seen in the little shot before the gameplay where oz flies and she comes out of oz and reveals to have like in air steps or something, idk, maybe I just like fischl
One reason early trailers being soo bad is Maybe because the game was just too young so they really didn't expect the reception it recieved. So they just didn't put much effort. Also, these trailers released when people had no idea how even the game looked like so they were excited just for these gameplay videos and all. Xiangling'a demo is one if the most popular one because it is the first time you see a lot of cool land in Liyue
She's a hypocrite who ruins others' lives and the game doesn't seem to call her out on it one bit while everyone else gets to be reprimanded for less severe flaws, and she doesn't have much redeeming factors or personality to convince a bunch of others to look past that and leave the kid be.

@pimtofu Childe was convinced Rex Lapis would stop it from happening (he literally said he hated doing it a LOT, he hated bringing weak and innocent people into things, but he HAS to for his mission). His love for his family and what he would do for that, and the fact that he wanted to leave the Fatui and join the Traveler (reminder that he can't cuz the Fatui literally has his family hostage and faking his death or wiping memory of him Scara-style to leave wouldn't keep his family safe), and the fact that he still has standards compared to the other Harbingers and is above killing his own troops and innocents when he can help it. That's a whole lot more redeeming than slapping the most generic backstory on Dori. Literally the nicest thing she did was help the Traveler uncover the mystery behind Kaveh's dad and that was accidentally, unneeded (because Alhaitham and Scara were already on the case and Alhaitham himself telling Kaveh was actually the good ending), and so selfish she ended up piling even more debt on Kaveh for something SHE failed to have good foresight on as an aspiring best businesswoman. Ei wasn't even being malicious, she was being a gigantic meathead having been forced into the position of ruler immediately as someone who only knew how to fight and after losing her TWIN and leaving her other friend behind to die in order to save said twin and failing, and not to mention having had to fatally injure another friend who was corrupted all while seeing her own people die in the hundreds. AND she got called out on and punished for her overreaction REPEATEDLY UNLIKE A CERTAIN SOMEOME and she has actually been trying to redeem herself, again unlike a certain someone. She let the Kujou clan continue despite her being well in the position to punish them and strip them of their position because she knew that part of why they they planned what they did and why the plan succeeded was her own failure. She literally went from hiding behind her puppet in minor banter to taking all of the blame for what has happened under her rule in the years since the Cataclysm. She even had to naturally suffer the consequences of her own actions and not recover from them inmediately by being even more of an "evil person" as y'll like to paint her as. These two that you brought up to prove a point can look at an innocent person suffering and feel sorry for them and want to help, unlike a certain someone who just sees either another person to exploit or someone she can't because they're too poor. If you're so adamant on defending Dori, by all means tell us what she brings to the table apart from being discount Mr. Krabs with none of the funny writing in Spongebob.

@@Kepasta I'm sure you can actually acheive that style with some kind of jell to keep it in place, it's not like the hair just stops at the "cat ears;" on the outer half the hair flows into the rest of her hair. Another thing is that other parts of Dehya's hair also have the yellow that can be found in her "cat ears" so it's easy to assume that the shape with created specifically with those strands. All in all, I really don't think the physics of why things look the way they do is that important in this case... I just wanted to see what I could justify lmao

I put it in the description but I went over 5* characters I didn’t do in the first video! As for the Fischl video, I had cut it but it started with the CN, we couldn’t figure out where the EN one was, landed on the JP one and just stuck with it that’s all. Hope this helps
