Hi from France I can't magine the time spent to restore, maintain and clean these super nice tractors. All the best for you, may your Ford continue to mow and harvest grass for many years.
Class video some lovely kit there, just love the 8210 when the puff of smoke when she get the drive on. just shows this kit is very capable of doing the job. nice one Brian
Just found your vid and what a great one it is, brings back so many memories of watching this when I was a young lad in the 80s. Those fords are a credit to you and being a ford owner myself, nothing better than seeing them working 👍
I think the ten-x was the best flywheel chopper off them all. I ran 1 for 12 years doing around 800 to 1000 acres a year never had any problems with it and we had a tm 155 on it and a ts 135 and she could handle them no problem. Fantastic video brings back lots of memories.
Lovely tractors, all of them, better than new in some aspects, the later 10 series were the best tractors built before the plastic took over. Its nice to see someone with a passion to keep them in excellent order, great video shots, thanks for making them available.
Brilliant video. We used 10 series for years with a tarrup double chop. We then mowed in front of the tarrup with an 8ft mower. We then got a jf900 which was a big step forward. We added a few tractors over the years which are all fords. 8210 turbo and 8630 powershift. Both drove the jf. The 8630 was a dream to use with the powershift at lifting grass. Theres also a 8830 Dual Power!(extremely rare dual power model) which we used on an kvernland centre pivot 10ft mower for a season or two. We pulled behind mostly but if we side filled we did it to the right. Its so much handier and more natural and easier on the neck. We changed the trailers to suit. I think we were lifting 18ft rows. 9:44 9:44
That's the best silage video this year i remember many summers in the early 90 drawing with 7610 and 7810 silage was good craic back then 50acres a day would be a great day now its just to fast and to much pressure and money invested
Did you have these resprayed by someone you'd recommend? I have a 8210 out of Spain on the farm that is completely rust free but in dire need of being stripped and re-sprayed to keep it that way! Located just east of Belfast
@@millarcontracts thanks for replying I has a feeling you would as have read the other comments that you also replied to, nice to get a reply,, so what's your opinion on the idea of running the 7710 on the chopper and seeing the difference in performance in comparison to the 8210, have you done this already?
The 8210 would be rated at 115hp from the 6.6lt the 7710 would be 97hp from the 4.4lt Them extra 2 pots would make a difference Have a look at my video from 2 years ago we had the 7000 on the 10x it was going every bit as well as the 8210
@@millarcontracts ah brilliant I will have a watch of the 7000, they were a 4.2 🔥,,, yea the extra 2 cylinders definitely help in comparison to a smaller 4 pot with a turbo
@@millarcontractsThe 7710 and 7610 are 103 HP in the Gen 1 & 2.. The Gen 3 were upped to 105 HP. The 7600 and 7700 had 97 HP but the PowerPlus models on the end off their production run upped them to 103 HP which was basicly the crossover engine to the 10 Series...

Interesting, not one of these tractors would have been sold new in 2023, yet you expect us to accept that it's a 2023 video, when did ford get rebranded to New holland! thanks for sharing
Thanks for your comment this is a very armature video made by myself with a drone and my everyday phone just not that far advanced yet.... there is sound of the machines near the end of the video
