You help with moral support 😁 Here in "darkest" Africa it takes a few weeks to get stuff from Amazon. Local auto parts stores don't stock V8 parts. Only a few speciality stores in the big cities like Cape Town and Johannesburg will have stuff like a Holley Carb gasket kit. And they are expensive!

Oh lots. We have a troop of baboons living on the farm, lots of vervet monkeys in the trees, a few bushbuck. On the predator side, caracal, cape genet, mongoose and the magnificent honey badger. These guys often steal the chickens! We've seen porcupine and the rare aardwolf. There are Cape otters in the stream (difficult to spot), terrapin, black bass and a variety of water birds in the dam. Talking of birds, a huge variety, from small seed eaters like cape canary to large fish eagle and cape eagle-owl. Too many species to mention! And snakes! Quite a lot. Puff adder, Night adder, Boomslang, Herhold snake, Cape cobra to name the most common. And me! According to my wife. Sometimes.😂

@@ratrodsafrica i forgot to add porcupine on my list..lol ..damn dogs got face fulls a few times....snakes here are basically garder and harmless .. no primates unless some from the local town get lost ( no monkeys babboons or any tailed primates here )...

Got the engine/carb sorted but it needs an exhaust which I don't feel like building. I needs to go to town for that and the poor thing has been put on hold when I got busy with the Chevy...

On hold while I built the Chevy Budget Rat Truck. I did get the engine sorted out, planning to get exhausts fitted in the New year, then we can take her for a test drive!
