This video shows how to replace the top engine torque mount bushing insert on 2005-07 Ford Five Hundred, Ford Freestyle and Mercury Montego with and Upgraded Polyurethane Mount Insert from DRW Bushings.
I also cover the details of the new bushings and how it differs from the stock mount bushing.

just received mine. very easy to do. Just put my hacksaw blade thru hole and mounted it to the frame upside down and was no time cutting thru thanks way better than changing the whole thing

Thank you! It's amazing that you've taken the time to make this for a dwindling group of us die-hards. I love my Five Hundred, but I die inside a little every time it clunks. I can't wait to try this out. I bought one of your bushings today from your eBay listing. I wish that I'd seen this video before I bought it so I would have bought direct and saved you the seller fees. I'll come back in a few weeks and let folks know how great it is.

I’m thinking this is the problem with my car. The rubber is all rotten out and whole car shakes when I put it into drive or any gear. Car won’t shift either rpm’s just keep going up. Could this be my issue ?

Im really not sure that the mount would cause issues with not shifting. That sounds like a more serious issue with the transmission unfortunately.

@@driving-riding-wrenching1278 I stuck a piece of wood in there to hold the mount in place and it didn’t clunk when put into drive. It actually started shifting too ! 😨
