Great video Dave. Keep us in the loop how this one turns out. Good to see you and your brother working together. I work with my brother everyday. He's the tractor Doctor around our farm.

Excellent video :) also bet tractor needs light tune up and be running super too ! Grey paint on carb is great color for tractor Dave never seen anyone paint before till you showed it!
I had that problem on my jubilee. Tested and it was ignition switch. It ran for awhile and stopped. No spark. Did a tune up and ran great. Next no power to distributor. So replaced all the wires. It ran great for 2 months. And no start no spark but power to points. Rechecked everything. Found nothing. Ordered new distributor and works great.
Hi guys I'm having the same problem. Put in new plugs and wires. Got it running like a champ. Did it again and replaced carb. Now I'm stumped. ? Any other ideas.??
Doc I've been contemplating attempting to convert from updraft carburetor to single barrel down draft carburetor on my early model MF 135. Is this possible, are is there not enough of a vacuum to draw the air fuel charge that far around the adapter that will have to be fabricated to make this possible? I'm curious as to why this hasn't been done before, and also separating the intake from the exhaust even though they have to share the same bolt holes for mounting. That alone would be a big improvement in power I would think, because of being able to lower the entering air temperature a great amount, especially if they both could be wrapped in heat tape to shield one from the other to a large degree. I know that you will still have some heat transfer from the mounting bolts, are studs, but with a thick gasket in between them that would help to a degree would it not. Just wondering what the thinking in general is on this topic, and if you are anyone else has any knowledge about what I've put out there for comments on. Have not done any serious research into this just something that has crossed my mind numerous times over the years. Thanks
Another reason I don't like ford's they have fuel shut offs... seriously the most ignorant people. Btw when the lever is flipped out out on the hundred series it's shut off. I knew right then he wasn't get fuel then the bs vapor lock excuse had me dying 😂😂😂
