Over one year and this transmission is still running great. Had to change the MAF Sensor again though. Cleaning it didn’t work.

I have the same code with my 06 E450. I wonder if the TFTS is the same

It is very likely. The sensor is not that expensive and I have noticed a lot of similarities between the E-350 and E-450, although our E-450 is a Starcraft bus, it seems the engine components are very similar.

What were the symptoms before the sensor change?

The engine would hesitate and sometimes downshift on it’s on. After changing, there was ver smooth shifting and noticeably less gas consumption. Sometimes the engine would get stuck in a gear and be at 3,000 rpm at highway speed. There were days where it would shift properly, but the bad days over time began to outnumber the good.

My truck doesnt shift above second gear i stay at 3,000 rpm driving 50mph on the highway so i don’t overheat the fluid. I am going to try a mechanic and see if the price is worth saving time and mistakes doing it it myself. I am a little hesitant when it comes to transmission diy. Thats just me.
