Been riding the Ecosport now for over 3 years. We just love it. It's simple, always works and the what many people call an awkward rear door is for us a great plus. Stepping into the car is a pleasure and oh so easy. Only downfall perhaps the fuel economy.

We're finally getting this in the North America for 2018. Unfortunately we don't get the turbo diesel or the six speed manual (six speed automatic transmission only). Shame.

No diesel or AWD available in the Philippines. I wish Ford would realize we love diesel and it's 25% cheaper than gasoline which makes a huge difference to the average Filipino.

Strange, as in the UK diesel is now very much dearer than petrol. It used to be the other way round and our government told us that diesel was better for the environment. Once we started buying diesel cars in big numbers they realised they had got it wrong and are now punishing drivers with very high diesel prices.

A decent review. One point tho, you say what the combined economy is, but it would help if you told us what you were getting while using it. Manufactures figures are often optimistic.

The Ford Ecosport overall is a great looking car apart from I don’t think if I was thinking of purchasing one, I could live with the barn door style opening boot entrance it’s too restrictive when parking in tight spaces. What would concern me is the door hinge longevity. Just my opinion…….a great review though. Thank you.

Hi I regularly read ur reviews. I have a question i am planning to buy a car for my wife to pick and drop kids from school. And i have come across FORD ECOSPORTS. 2016 automatic 23 k kms done. Can u pls suggest that should i buy or not as ford is out of india and will it give me resale value later. Pls ur suggestion will help me.

It is now a first class good looking quality small SUV they way it should of been from day one instead of dumping it on the market in its original low standard form , I hope Ford again has learnt its lesson about only bringing quality to the market as crap product fools nobody and only gives the brand a long time negative reputation .

@@tedschmitt178 Ya, just like Chevrolet Trax, even though she is 100mm longer that Ford Ecosport, however car like this size is not good for a frequent picking up purpose.
