Ford EcoSport 2018 India review in Hindi - It is undoubtedly the best sub-4 metre compact SUV in India, and to challenge its rivals better ford has brought its facelift here. While we had already tested the diesel version earlier, here's our take on its petrol automatic model that comes with an all-new 3-cylinder, 1.5-ltire Ti-VCT petrol engine mated to a new 6-speed torque converter auto unit (instead of the previous dual-clutch gearbox). This naturally-aspirated engine develops a max power output of 121bhp and a max torque of 150Nm. What we genuinely liked about the Ford EcoSport petrol automatic is its refined and smooth nature despite having a three-cylinder engine and a conventional gearbox.

I have bought one on January 18, with 10000 + kms on odo now in October. I would say this is a perfect car for me, fit my budget, I drive it 90 % of time on highway, it gives me 18 + mileage. Cools very fast , under a minute. Nice enfotainment system, no need to install any third market accessories. Most importantly road presence. People tend to love the looks of the car even more the you do ;P love u ford.

In my point of view there are only 3 enthusiasts' car one can get under 20 lacs 1. Polo GT 2. Honda City 3. Ford Ecosport .... Not just best in segment in terms of driving dynamics! Ecosport is a gem ❤️💎

Occasional highway rides. 4 people family. What mileage should I expect in light driving conditions with moderate traffic like Varanasi. Any other recommendations? Thankyou in advance.

I got my new Ecosport Titanium+ Petrol automatic in May 2018. Driven 2000 kms in last 3 months. all superlatives used for the car are right, no doubt this is a very good compact SUV. But I am getting an avg. mileage of just 7.47 kmpl. Consistent between 7-8kmpl (worst: 6.66 kmpl, best:8.1kmpl) Not only me, but internet and social forums are full of Ecosport mileage problem reports with the 1.5 l Dragon engine. FASS people are not able to identify and spot the real problem. Any expert tips on what should be done? Awaiting responses...

Konesh Chopra I think after your first pms on your dealer. fuel consumption will improve. I believe the dealers are calibrating something on the engine through ecu for it to improve mileage. ford has done this I think for break-in security. once the break in period is done, the dealer can update the ecu to improve fuel consumption.

Brother we can't comment on the service cost since the engine and gearbox are all-new. That can only be done when we have the car for a really really long duration.

Do you think eco sport still a good option after Venue? I’m planning to explore this option as Hyundai failed to deliver the Venue and uncertainty in delivery. One more thing you mentioned Ecosport moved from dry clutch DCT to AT, if I’m not wrong Venue also have dry clutch DCT. Do you think Venue will also have same problem?

So roughly, you are going to be driving for about 60Km/day. In that case, the diesel would suit you better. The Titanium is the most value for money variant in the lineup, but if you can stretch your budget a bit you can also opt for the Titanium+ that offers you tons of safety features and lot more equipment.

With the same engine, the Figo should return better being less in weight. And we are certain that with the new engine & gearbox setup, the Figo petrol will become a brilliant car to drive. We too want that too happen.

Vijendra Khemnar I own the new petrol manual version and in its initial 1000 kms.. it returned 11 kmpl in City and 13 kmpl on highways... and yes it is absolute fun to drive this machine in city conditions!!!

Yes, the mileage of EcoSport petrol is way less than the Swift. EcoSport 1.5-litre petrol will offer you around 10-11kmpl.

Bhai hamein lagta hai ki Renegade thodi mehangi hogi EcoSport se. Shayad uski price 10 lakh se shuru hogi, agar utna budget badha sakte ho to wait kar sakte ho. Waise EcoSport kaafi sorted gaadi hai aur tried & tested hai.

Sadly, the reverse camera is available only on the Titanium Plus which comes with the 6-speed AT.

I have taken test drive for new ford ecosport recently and I personally like petrol manual version as I find it is very Smooth silent, and. peppy engine than diesel. yes In higher rpm diesel is also good but little noisy and less Smooth compared to petrol.

Aap book karwate waqt hi dealer ko bol sakte ho ki mujhe sirf 2018 ka hi model year chahiye, 2017 ka nahi to wo aapko 2018 ka hi dega. Waise agar aap January end ya February mein book karwaoge to 2018 ka hi model milega shayad. Phir bhi ek baar confirm kar lijiye dealer se. EcoSport ke competition mein waise koi bada player nahi aayega, aayenge to ekdum naye carmakers aayenge to agar reliability aur re-sale wagarh sab sahi chahiye to EcoSport le lijiye.

If it's less than 1000Km, the petrol is recommended. The mileage of the petrol model, however, is less than the diesel model.

Milage of petrol is very poor in ecosport petrol.. Better go for diesel. Also maintenance cost is almost equal for both petrol and diesel
