I still remember 2013 July month i booked ford ecosport black mid variant petrol around 7.4 laks waiting period of 3 months. Waited for 3 months did not get the car to my surprise there was price hike of around 45k and I waited another 3 months increased the price of another 40 thousands ...cancelled the car..booked vw polo.... They exported more ford car to Brazil that time ..a year or so later after launching s cross they reduced a price of 1 lakh.. I decided not to buy ford car. Though in don't insist others, I used to share it with my friend..I drove my p polo around 1lakh 7 thousand km and sold it few months bought skoda kushaq few days back..

No way!!!!! Ford doesn't understand the indian ppl rather than build quality. Most of the indians will look after fancy items.(MG, KIA, Creta). Marketing strategy is very poor. One of best case study. Even product looks better but its failure because of poor marketing.

@@Adharsh6 Agree bro. They provided great built quality cars with reasonable price. And the reason maruti and hyundai selling like hot cake is they have solid presence in rural areas. All others are not giving piece of mind ownership

Sir, a couple of edits - Headlamps- None of the Ford EcoSport has LED headlamps. Only DRLs are LED. The version(AT+) you are reviewing has halogen projector headlamps. The top most trim Titanium S (diesel) has HID headlamps with projector. Spare Wheel - SE variant does not have spare wheel, all other variants has spare wheel . Headlight adjustment pull out knob - this is not for increasing or decreasing brightness, it is for adjusting the headlamp focus.

Within two days of the announcement of Ford exit, with a heavy heart I sold off my Ford Freestyle diesel titanium. Brilliant car in all areas . No second thoughts.. All these assurances of Ford regarding service is good to hear, but I doubt it can be done going forward. It will slowly fade. I dont have time and patience to run behind spares. Downtime in service centres will surely be more. I really enjoyed the freestyle. Such a nimble and weighty car with a very well supporting drivetrain and suspension. Just like all good things come to an end at some point of time, users like us don't get any younger. Cars are inanimate things. It has served you well. Time to move on. There is still life on the other side. I booked a KIA Sonet. That's another car with a butter smooth diesel Cheers

Only Ecosport is the best selling car in India from FORD. Ford diesel is the best driver car in India. Same diesel engine 1500cc and 100hp power used in all the cars like Figo,aspire,freestyle and Ecosport. Ford diesel is the cheapest BS6 diesel car,best mileage and economical car in India.

Ford is not closing its sale, it's only closing down its Manufacturing unit. After 2022 india made Ford will not be available. We have only imported Ford with beast like Mustang Mach E, Endeavour as Everest.

A year back when I tried Cars24 they asked to pay initial amount of 5k before test driving and also asked for a final quote of vehicle price I am willing even before test drive. Although I liked the cars listed and was eager about their vehicle checklists they shared I backed down and bought a car from different options. Always check everything before buying from cars24
