Ford has over-engineered the crap out of this car. There's no need for climate control to be part of the onscreen menu. They are taking simple tasks and making them distractions that require taking your eyes off the road. I can't tell you how much I hate this. I rented an Edge recently and the default climate settings were set to 78 degrees with full fan. I had to pull over to make adjustments. When it comes to controls, simpler is always better.
Using a 2022 rental with same thing. Its just as bad as using your phone while driving. Too many screens to switch between. Someone below said something about "overengineered". I think that hits the nail on the head. Too many electronic features makes it not user friendly. Its like u have to re-learn how to drive
I film at 1080p at 30 fps. I am going to increase it to a 4K at 60 fps. Let’s see if that helps. I am not sure if RU-vid compresses the video when it uploads and you lose’s quality but I will try this. Thank you for your comment! Do me a favor and click subscribe 😀
Well, first off I don’t recommend driving and trying to figure out your navigation, I always stay parked, set my route up, and then go when I’m done and ready to not mess with it. With the climate controls I don’t find them bad, I keep them usually in dual and just use the slider close to me and works just fine, there was once where I pressed “MAX” on accident and I panicked for a second. Other than that I haven’t crossed a real safety concern besides just common sense of waiting to move the vehicle lol
I have this POS car as a loaner. How TF do you delete a phone from it? This is the worst! It does random s*** like stopping and refusing to play music on Bluetooth. Additionally, I can't hear my voicemail unless it plays music over it at the same time. This is totally bull s***. I can't wait to get my Focus ST back!!!
Does anyone know if the sync 4 has a recirculation button? I can not find a way to stop outside air from entering the car when the heater or AC is on other then to turn it off.
My ford edge titan ,2021 is on shipping from usa to iraq ,, it certainly has navigation ,, but my question is , does it requíre internet connection or not ,, and how can i connect it to net .?
It’s most certainly possible, the wiring harness has to be slightly changed but it’s the same dash and everything behind so it’ll fit perfectly. People just haven’t done it yet because ford isn’t even selling the screen through their parts dept and there’s massive shortages. Once those get cleared up someone will probably make a kit. Question is, is it worth the $3,000 it’ll probably cost?
If it does not power up you can press the volume and fast forward buttons at the same time for 15 seconds to wake it up. Ford probably needs to do an update for intermittent power ups of the big screen, at least for my new 2021 Ford Edge SE.
