I worked in this place until it closed in September 2020. We didn't make cars, we made engines,and it really wouldn't surprise me if they reopened it to make engine's again for Ford under a different name, but pay the workforce half or a third of the wages!

It will take years to sell of machines if they can be put your use somewhere else, some plants can reuse cabinet's. The place must of generated lots of noise, now you can hear the buzz bars and light stripes. We they close a machine shop is bad for the workers if they cannot find or relocate to new site's around the country. It's amazing the equipment use to build cars then abandoned if it can't be used again. What can't be used it's a shame machine's will be scraped a big money made clearing it

I've heard that Ford aren't making no more Fiesta's anymore.

All those machine tools are top end products, probably purchased with tax payers money, criminal. I couldn't hear a word you were sayid.
