The big positive on the Ford (for people buying one versus renting for a weekend) versus Chevrolet Suburban, is Chevy has major motor issues and a number of recalls where Ford has more reliable engines. But yes if you want a pretty interior go with Chevy, GMC has been building pretty interiors with features that are new (and break all the time) for years. That is why Chevy continues to loose market share to other auto makers with less pretty (but more reliable) interior and electronic features. That is why past decade Honda, Ford, and Toyota are gaining market share while GMC and Chevy continue to lose market share year after year.
