As some of you may know, I started working in the waste industry June of 2021 at Waste Management. I left Waste Management mid October and I worked for a local company collecting Organics. Mid January I got a call from someone I worked with at WM and he told me the situation, I filled out an application AND had my interview in the same day with a physical/drug test the next day. That Friday I signed my offer letter. I think it helped that the guy who interviewed me at GFL was actually the one who hired me down at WM. Everyone that I work with here at GFL, I worked with at Waste Management and it felt like I never left.
I bought a GoPro a few months ago wanting to put it to good use BUT I wanted to get the okay from my boss and he said go for it.
Now I know this is not the best GoPro footage around but as the garbage and recycle becomes lighter, I’ll be able to play with the position of the camera more and more…. I also want to get a head mount for the GoPro to get a POV video going!
