Hello ! I have a Fiesta 1.25 from 2011, with 44kw (60 hp) ! It is feeling the diference of the horse power? I want to do chip tuning to 90 hp. Respect !!!❤❤❤
how do you have temperature on the dashboard ? I know that only facelift models have it ( 2013 -) .I have a 2012 fiesta 1.25 and it doesn't show temperature.
Hold lil pin in and turn key to light on dash but don’t start until dash says test then cycle through about no joke 25 different screens then there’s degrees👍 took me ages to find🤣😁
This is a great little engine, but certainly not meant for tuning..you can gain about 2 seconds to 100km/h , but afterwards, the gain isn't that much at all. I wouldn't do it for such low-powered engines, you're still slow, who cares about the extra 2 seconds..redlining like a crazy that is even! Put the money n some good tires and lower weight on wheels, the gain from that is probably alot better and worth the money aswell. Anyone their own choice offcourse...
Ludovico Vallotto i suppose it’s the same but detuned.. it doesn’t look like it but makes a lot of difference, even in normal daily driving.. I went on holliday in it to austria in the mountains, (3 people and heavy climbing gear) it would not have done that with the original 60hp
Tom Jardine it isn’t. There’s two 1.25 versions (59bhp and 82bhp). They’re both the same engine, just that the lower one has a restrictive ecu tune on it, which by removing the factory tune and mapping it, takes it to the 82bhp standard with some more on top. It’s a common misconception that by mapping the 59bhp version, it’s under strain.
Those 1.25 are almost bulletproof. They have been used for ages in previous Fiesta generations, also 1.4 and 1.6 Zetec-SE are based on it. And Zetec-SE is almost same as 1.6Eb. I owned Fiesta Mk5 1.25, then Focus Mk1 1.6, then Focus Mk2 1.6Ti-VCT and now collecting money for Fiesta 1.6 EcoBoost :) Some parts from 1.25 fit & worked on Focus Mk2 Ti-VCT tho.
