No they haven't lmao, Traxxas is one the worst RC company, they over price everything, there lipo batteries are trash, they think they are special so if u buy a Traxxas, you HAVE to use there battery, can't upgrade any electronics unless it's Traxxas or u spend a lot more to completey swap out there electrical for something better, every oje of there rcs are full plastic so you can't really use it in the winter, they arent durable at all. Buy an Arrma and save urself money, they are faster, more durable, better support, and they aren't all plastic so u can actually have fun in the winter snow if u so choose.
@@die1225depends what you are buying, if you are going for the 3s line up go Arrma. I just use an adapter for the battery and I can put a different motor/esc/servo on it really easy.
@@GavinHardle yeah if you do buy Traxxas, I'd say buy adapters to use other brand lipos, I'd go with soldering on ec5s or so but that would void Traxxas warranty, Traxxas was great back in the day when I was growing up.. they still have a FEW durable models, but there prices are outrageous for what you get, at least put better electronics in if they gonna charge that much lol
They need to start using the 540XL motor. Enough, catch up with Arrma maybe by using to 4s esc too. Its true these just get too hot and if you gear down they go 40ish at best
