So good, I bought one. Just two points; the seats are inhouse Ford Performance seats, not Recaros, and this 8.5 model has 320 nm of torque. Ford have certainly gone out with a high as this is the best hot hatch I've had or driven since my 205GTI. The two are very different animals, but equally great fun.
I recently got a second hand 2020 model low mileage. Really enjoying it,and will hang onto it as long as possible now they are stopping making. I've been a Fiesta fan for years. Good video 😊
Nice one, Anna. Great review. We have the previous model, with the Ford-approved Mountune kit for a few more horses and we love it. That ST suspension is stiff, and the knackered streets of North London can make a cross-town journey a bit of a boneshaker, but we wouldn't have it any other way!
What a great review of a great car Anna. Of the Ford cars that I've driven over the years one thing stood out and that's the handling. This little pocket rocket would be very tempting but unfortunately it looks like the performance Fiesta swansong as it's sadly being discontinued. If I could justify it and had the room I would be tempted to go for it but I'm not as young as I used to be but for my swansong it could be worth it for one more laugh. As usual top production, editing and brilliant delivery. Thanks for sharing.
I asked r/fiestast if im too old to own one at 33 - The answer was a resounding no and all these old timers came out of the woodwork to gloat about their ST. 40s, 50,s and even a few 60-something year olds. It did seem like we were all from the states though. the fiesta here has a different clientel than that in the UK it seems.
A great fun to drive hot hatch, including sporty beautiful interior and plenty of room at the same time!! I like its engine, too, which is innovative and powerful!! Thank you Anna for one more lovely nice and so interesting review!!
The engine is probably the worst thing for me, it sounds terrible and delivers fairly okish performance. It drives very well and seems good for a warm hatch. The old 1.6 4c engine though was much better even if the new car delivers better fuel economy/emissions etc.
I have heard some people question the staying power of these 3 cylinder units. They are on maximum boost all the time, eventually something is going to give. As ever, nicely done Anna, always enjoy your reviews.
True. If you remember we had a similar conversation about 1.5 litre engines in Mercedes as well. Perhaps we should revisit the conversation in ten years, see how many of these cars are on the road. Be interesting. Always a pleasure to talk Anna, I look forward to your next video!

Very good review Anna. Engine sounds surprisingly good - cracks and pop from a 3 cylinder 1.5? What fun! I’d choose the i20N but this looks a good alternative for those who don’t like the Hyundai.

Great review Anna. I purchased one 5 months ago and it is a great little hot hatch. Your comment regarding someone who is older and living with the suspension on poor road suffices is great advice. It will be interesting to see how long I can tolerate that aspect of driving the car 🤣🤣
Definitely a hothatch, A very good effort Ford, I would have the Hyundai. However I would tend to lean with the Germans In the Hot Hatch stakes. Great review Anna.
Hi from Norway Anna..I do actually prefer the looks of the front of my 5 door Mk8 but that's personal.. they are amazing cars and full on total fun to drive.My car has no mapping or chip tuning stuff..it has just a few bits of Mountune hardware installed and ran 220 BHP and 320 NM on recent test so I am pleased and have no plans to change..the i20N is certainly the main competition..thanks for a really interesting test Anna

Hi Anna. The engine should not put off buyers looking at buying this car as there is nothing inherently wrong with a 3 cylinder especially as it is a 1.5L. The consensus is 500cc per cylinder is the optimum size for an engine and on top of that the Toyota GR Yaris is a 3 cylinder and look how popular that car is. Oh I like your choice in music, some good old classic Aussie music and I can even remember when that song came out, shows how old I am lol. Thanks for your review and great to see you enjoying yourself with a manual gearbox. I just hope they don't die out completely.
Cześć Anna. Hopefully I got it right. Fantastic review. Ford always know how to make a car handle like a Go-Kart and the Ford Fiesta is one of those legend of a Hot Hatch all the way back when they was called XR2's. It's great to see they haven't lost that fun Hot Hatch fill and it looks like you had a bit of fun with it. Good on you for trying to do the 0 to 60mph in the manual, I think you more than likely done a lot better then me if I was do it. The interior looks pretty good for a Ford. I had to have a second looks when you was going through the entertainment system, at 8:40mins I initially saw "Anna V Mental As Anything", which I was going to say that a bit nasty Ford she a awesome lady. Then I saw "Live it Up". Probably just me being bad hahaha. Really good MPG and sounds really raspy. I know they do a ST Line which I guess its S Line or N line. My neighbour got the ST Line Fiesta. The worst thing about the Fiesta is that Ford are going to stop making Fiesta's next year as in Fiesta is going to be now more and that's such a shame. It's going to be an end of an era. Prawdopodobnie najlepiej zamiast tego wybrać Hyundai i20N. Nie będziemy musieli martwic się o Fiesta, ponieważ Ford będzie lub przestał wtedy produkować. Wszystkiego najlepszego.

A fine review Anna….we have just got the Puma version and it seems very good so far but we are on 26.3 miles yet so literally on the very start…21.2 being ours plus delivery! We are impressed and even by the build quality…it makes my 2018 Land Rover feel quite old! 😬😀😀😀😀Richard.

Here in Australia Ford is discontinuing both Focus and the Fiesta sometime during 2023...apparently...pity as there's not a huge choice here anyway and getting smaller, which I guess, is due to what actually sells here...another great review...thanks.
The fiesta st is a beautiful car, and the engine is great, tho i wish they would at least add a sunroof to it, and maybe roof rails for a roof rack to maybe compensate for the lack of boot space. To me that's probably the only 2 things lacking from it to be a great car. On the looks side, would be great if it was quad exhaust on both sides, and maybe a better looking rear diffuser.
Crazy isn't it? Has to be one of Fords highest volume sellers too. I wonder if they will replace it with a new model or we just get the Puma.... which being a mini SUV has zero interest for me. :/ Going to buy a ST3 mk7.5 in the spring... if its even half as good as my old Pug GTI's I'll be happy.
Hi Anna! Good video and very good picture and sound quality. I see that even the Ford Fiesta has grown like the Golf and is no longer so small. The seats in the new Fiesta are much better than the first generation when it comes to that, the seats look like they were taken from a supercar like Lamborghini, the design of the seat reminds me of that.
Sad these are not available in the United States. I bought my daughter's 2011 Fiesta as a second car. I was pleasantly surprised how much acceleration it can deliver for a small car. Nice video Anna, really like these little sports cars!

I went for the Fiesta, Exactly the same as the one you drove ! The Hyundai is a great Hot Hatch but Droopy eyed, front styling, an over fussy exterior and Cheap Inferior seats compared to the Fiesta put me off. The Abarth is fantastic but impractical. This ST will be a future classic no doubt. Great Review Anna.

Are we calling this car the Mk9? or Mk8 facelift? I've owned a Mk7 ST, Mk8 ST and now the Mk8 ST Edition. The interior of this verison is almost identical to the ST Edition. The most obvious difference is the electronic dash. The carbon fibre trim was exclusive to the Edition. The front end of this car is a step backwards in terms of looks for me, the front end spliter is a nice touch but the huge Ford logo in the grill and round nose is horrible. Everything else is identical as far as I am aware. oh and the launch control on Fiesta's is a waste of time, you can get a better launch in manual with some decent throttle control. It was fun to use at first but its rarelyt turned on in my car. The Mk8 is still the best choice Fiesta ST for me, as long as it has the LSD! Funnily enough my Mrs is also called Anna and comes from Poland. Dziękujemy pa pa pa

Proof here that “basic” can match the fun/performance factors of cars whose names end in a vowel. Popcorn noise out the back end and rear seat demo should keep this little devil on “buy”, but sadly, not over here-our loss. Ms. the red gloves, too.

Ford have been making cars than handle across the range since about ‘99 and the Focus launch We have a Transit 2017 and Mondeo hybrid also 2017 , for work and both drive very very well 👌 These pocket rockets must be turbocharged to get 200 bhp and although the sound is weird at first I think overall I could get used to it Four doors looks a bit unsporty but very very practical for sure And that’s enough about the car 👌 No girl is ever going to walk to camera looking more sexy and gorgeous and with driving skills , facts and figures AND a wardrobe to die for than you 💋💋💋 Hot hatch of choice out of fiat and Hyundai but then Renault do know hot
