It's amazing to see you kept all your records and done work upto date. It shows you are very careful in your day to day life too. Thanks for sharing and giving us a real-time experience. This review is definitely helping many guys to get a perfect idea of maintenance. Keep posting. 😊
Best-ever presentation. My Figo tdci 2012 has crossed 82000 km. Your data is guideline for other users. Thanks for completing more than 2 lacs km. It's a great job for your figo.Nice to see such long long term record. Great......job.
its good to see your figo diesel completing 2+L kms also in great shape. I'm having ford classic 1.4 tcdi running 1.1L kms, just few suggestion from end to reduce maintenance cost based on my experience. 1. Try Michelin xm2 185/65 R14 (upsized from 175), its really good and completing 95K+ kms, still holding and some 5-10 kms life left. 2. Discharge car battery for 2-4 hrs once in a month using car audio or parking lights, it will increase the battery life 3. Try better semi synthetic oil then Ford provided, used Motul 4100 5w30 , little reduce in engine noise and better smoothness upto 5K kms, still searching for best.
Amazing info bro.... 👍🏻 I too own Ford Figo 2012 Diesel model, 72Kkm done. This video really helps me in comparing the expenses of my car.. Great job! Keep rolling more videos plz... Subscribed🕺🕺🕺
Sir, i have 2012 figo titanium diesel... Plz help me with headlights issue.. The stock 55/60 W bulb were too dim for me so i changed it to 90/100 W with Relay ....But the problem still persists... they are also dim n i don't get confidence during night driving What should i do now? Do i have to change both headlight assembly? Someone suggested me to use projector in fog lamps ..
Do you still have this car? Waiting for the remaining part... Do you have any Excel file of these spendings? Why moved away from 185/70 to 175 tyres? Great video compared to the typical reviews 😁
I own a Ford Figo clocked 87000 km. Definitely, this car is very lite on our wallet and also a great machine with good mileage. Planned to sell it. But now I am decided to keep him after watching your video. My service costs are high in Ford service. Are you doing the service in Ford or local mechanic? Greatly appreciate the effort!
Wow wonderful maintenance report about Figo bro 🔥and I just had an doubt that my friend thought of buying an Figo in this year would you prefer to buy ford Figo is it worth or worthless?? whether it gives us burden after buying?? Please reply this question brother ❣️
Wonderfully captured all the details..my figo tdci is at 1.4 lakh km in 8th year.. Planning to keep it for long. I have remapped the car when it was in 90k km..and is running on a remap now.. Do you stick to authorized service centers or any multi brand workshops? I find figo suspensions rods wear out faster may be due to increased weight and nose down in diesel.. Especially link rods and tie rods..
Because, with 185/70, there was a mileage drop of about 2 kmpl and steering became stiffer. Its advantage was stability while taking curves and increased ground clearance.
Thank You... Bro...I think after 1 lakh km, maintenance for all vehicles will be a bit high... It seems you are driving around 20k km every year... Cars which are running everday has lesser problems than a car running once or twice in a week. My suggestion is to maintain your car till it lacks mileage, power and comfort... Buying a new car in this range costs you around Rs.8lakh... also its insurance will be high for the next three to four years..... Maintaining your present car will not cost you more than R.50k max per year including insurance, tyre etc.... This is just an opinion... Decision is yours ☺️
which your enough experience i would like to ask you one suggestion which tyre are best from your opinion and how many kilometres truly i can expect with a new tires ..
I haven't used the so called best tyres - Mischelin and Bridgestone.... Was running mostly on chinese tyres.... Even my all India trip was done in Kenda Tyres.... But now I switched to Apollo Amazer 4 G Life... it is almost 40k km now ....expecting 20k km more
Such detailed review and the details u have provided about the trip and everything even about the service of figo it's excellent sir i wish all the very best in the youtube..
I have 2014 figo petrol with 56K run, there is another 2010 figo petrol run 80k,no major issues except low mileage. How much engine life is left in the cars?
commandable job bro ,sorry if i am sounding silly . i am planning to buy a used figo 2011 model 1.3Lakh KM ran already , is there anything i should check before going for it ? its a well maintained single owner car according to my understanding .
iam planning to purchase used ford figo 2012 model...few of my friends r complaining that spares r expensive n maintainance is very high... while some r suggesting that price of spares became less n maintainance is equal to maruti cars...what do u say ..? cost of spares n maintainance when compared to maruti swift... is it similar or more expensive?
I don't know exactly about it... I haven't seen the actual service costs of those vehicles... Also I haven't come across a Swift, Polo or i20 which has crossed 2 lakh km...but through my friends having these vehicles have told that they are very expensive to maintain.... The service cost of swift (if done at authorised service center) is greater than Figo for 1 lakh km... Even the predicted service cost of my alto 800 for 50k km is greater than my figo..☺️
@@arautocabin3711 yes, Ford is cheaper than Alto servicing. I don't recollect changing rear wheel bearing in Figo, but for my Alto I change it every 30k kms

Once one ford ASS gave me quotation of Rs. 96000 for fixing all 4 injectors, you know what, you don't believe me I had fixed that problem with just Rs. 500, all I needed was a good quality injector cleaner solution 😁! Lesson learnt, do not listen to whatever these ASSes quote, just go with experienced drivers information on various blogs and videos.. Happy Driving... 👍🏻
U don't need to change complete injector .first use any additive in fuel if problem did not solve , then repair these injector from outside shop .500-600 rs for one injector
Average service cost per 10,000 kms is Rs 13,500+ , That is in no way cheap, for example the Swift 1.3 DDis average service cost is around 8000 Rs/10k kms. This was after 2.02 lakh kms of running, the main difference is in the parts like suspension, ball joints, drive shafts, these parts of Ford I feel fail more often than the ones in SWift, then its the infamous injector issues a lot of TDCis have, U are among the lucky ones who havent got affected with this issue, its said that on average 4/10 Figos with 1.4 TDCi get a bad fuel injector after 100k kms, thats pretty bad for Ford brand . Ford still has got a long way to go to sort out reliability issues
@@om5201 Yes, I am pretty sure, the 2012 Swift DDis even after 2L kms this is the cost we had to pay for it, Now just leave the service cost aside, how about reliability,? MSILs biggest advantage actually is not service cost, its reliability of parts, engine, etc Fords are NOT RELIABLE
@ponygt 662 Thanks for the comment dear friend... Reviews from my friends using swift diesel is entirely different from what you said. They pay around Rs.8000 for each 10000km till 1 lakh km and a much more after that. These are charges of authorized service centers. The only thing they praise is the DDiS engine. I have an alto, of which, the service charges are almost 1.5 times that of my figo diesel, at low kms. I think it is always better to compare the service charges of vehicles upto 1 lakh km (most of the people sell it before that):)
@@arautocabin3711 Maybe it varies from place to place, from where I am ie from Kerala, Suzuki is any day cheaper than Ford. That said, I do agree Ford quality is far superior to Suzukis ie in drive, handling, suspension etc Also the DDis Engine is way way more reliable than Ford TDCi that are plagued with injector issues, throttle body issues, piston ring issues, head gasket issues etc
@@ponygt6629 ford is king in a diesel engine ,ford invented first diesel engine ,there is no issues at all just maintaining proper vehicle its run more than 3 lakh km
