good morning guys... now the Figo could have been a bit more sporty if it had got some spoilers fitted on to the bumper and a painted stripe instead of the vinyls. and at ₹50000 more than the std. Titanium variant it should have had the SynC infotainment system. otherwise it is a really hot hatch
As it is itself the Ford Figo Sport is cheaper than a STUPID Maruti Suzuki SWift ZDi, so how come U say it needs more aero and stripes, see Ford needs some profit margin to survive the blind Maruti/Hyundai biased car market of India
Been driving for a decade without any parking sensors so I don't really miss it.. but I just checked that you can get the parking sensors added for ₹3000/- or less from the showroom... So...😎😎
The worst thing about PowerDrift... Even if you don't have any plans to buy a car for next 10 years,they still make you watch till the end. Too good to resist.
I have Ford figo titanium (diesel) 2016 not s but I simply love it.... It's like racing in roads.... You want to overtake from zero zoooommm the car goes .... You want overtake from 30km/h zooooommmm she goes... Do you want overtake from 60 or 90 or even 120 she just goes zooommmmm She feeds my adrenaline, everytime I starts her....

Abhishek Chatterjee GC is never an issue, just like the old Figo. As it's a new engine I'm not revving it hard. Once I cross 3500kms, I'm gonna install dieseltronic to unleash the beast in it! 😎
Ford should throw in the Ecoboost engine and the new touchscreen from the new Ecosport launched globally and top it off with the signature Ford Blue colour.. Can be called the Figo RS.. The best hatch to have..
it's been 7 years with this car for me.. Still drives great.. So much fun to drive.. Loving it.. Best purchase ever.. Yes, miss the convenience of Android Auto, but planning to fit something from aftermarket.. Rear camera & sensors - I go them installed from the dealership itself.
I hv been driving for 8 yrs and never needed parking sensors cos once u are in sync with ur vehicle u produce kinda relationship with ur car! So this figo here needs some love
I got a ford figo tdci, changed the wheels to 15 inch and got a stiffer suspension done. If only i knew ford was going to do all that for me in 6 months. Damnit!
Every thing far better than it's competitors except for infotainment and rear sensor and camera which is aged now. I have driven all its rivals whether polo, i20 , Baleno etc. and finally concluded this is the car I need..Thats said I agree with the points you raised and I am eagerly awaiting for it's update and most likely to buy one..

Even ford and fiat can do that. Just for the sake of mileage in Indian market they reducing the weight. Check the baleno crashes. Even a minor hit leading to heavy damage. Indian swift is completely different from European swift. Especially the quality of steel they for their market. Better know the facts before you get trolled buddy.

Nowadays with phone being able to do touch screen thingy and the navigation thingy and the music library thingy... all you need is a good amp and a good mobile holder ..touch screen on ICE is just not needed...

Hey, the video is as amazing as ever. Powerdrift never runs out of drama! Just one thing, maybe you could tell us more about performance figures in terms of acceleration and top speed, when compared to it's rival, so that it is clear what the sports edition is all about.
Uhm, if the suspension got stiffer, does that mean the smoothness is compromised? I really don't want to feel the tiny potholes on the road. May sound weird, but for me, smoothness > ride control.

I already test drive normal figo but I would like to say that I didn't feel interior and dash with lots of keys look good. it's outdated but it fun to drive in city ✌

I completely understand the point of this car its engine has enough grunt and it's a budget hatchback and it's low on pocket since servicing and spares are cheap too ... a drag race between Polo and Figo is out of my own curiosity to know which will beat d other 1 .... I myself own a Polo 1.5 tdi and its around 90 bhp .. now since the engine of figo is around 98 bhp or so and the torque figures are also approximately around the same corner so this was which fed my curiosity.... so thanks but no thanks for your concern .

Hi 1. Did ford reset the ABS system for R15 tyres? 2. If they didn't recalibrate the ABS then can we just upgrade the R14 to R15 tyres without compromising the safety? In an existing Figo

Great review. Nicely done. Just a small suggestion, if you could lower your background music a bit the narration would be greatly audible. I'm not sure if its my phone problem but i faced the same issues with my ipad as well. Keeping aside all those, your reviews are always great and a joy to see. Nice review as always..PD is best... but in review it showed 6 Airbag as optional..but when checked with dealer sports edition doesn't come 6 Airbag even as option!!

I am planning to buy a hatchback for my single use. It should be a tough and safer than my Ciaz and WR-V. Safety and good handling are must. Diesel is preferable. Among Polo GT TDI and Figo titanium plus with six airbags which is better..??? We had a fiesta before and it was a good car. My Uncle is using a regular Polo Tdi which is also good. Among this which is better..?? I need a diesel

I have booked an aspire sports, how is the suspension, is it stiff like figo 2011 & 2013 model or more and and why has the weight increased is this the same case with the aspire sports? man I am totally confused whether to buy aspire titanium or aspire sports, how about the mileage and yes steering how much heavy is it, is it heavy like the 1st gen figo and what about low speed weight on steering? As I want an easy to turn steering like standard aspire at low speed.
I liked the fiesta though. even at 64 bhp it still had that oomph factor. so confident inspiring in corners and dash through the highway, it's been so much fun. Then there was 1.6 s petrol, love love love... what else could we say then. When new figo was launched it really didn't have the fords DNA in it. Now, they have a 1.5 petrol with CVT and no S badge to it. This sort of suspension and tyre upgrade would ve made tough fight to GTs for sure. Well, consumer interest is good, but y do manufacturers have to play leaving their DNA behind. SICK!!!!. Now, coming to the review, good job again Glen, Kutchh ride really widened your mouth and I'm sure by your expression you missed a couple of heart beats. ❤️. N, lemme go check if Ford has really justified S badge to their Figos.

Ford has just given an S badge In Ford terminology this how hierarchy goes for FWD sporty cars S < Sport < ST Line < ST . SO this is the lowest of Fords FWD sporty car class and for that matter it really is perfect

I am really confused between the sports model and basic titanium tdci model, how much stiff is the suspension, will it crash in the potholes, is it harder than the 1st gen figo 2010 model? please tell guys I have to buy aspire this month, And the steering? Is it very heavy, I want it lighter then my 2011 figo for easy maneuvre so that it is not tiring on long distance on the hilly regions
what about its petrol version.... is that drivable in hilly areas too... as i am hearing from lot of people that its pertol version in not for hilly areas which doesnt allow shifting above 2nd gear due to heavy lack of torque
Over the stock tyres, 195/55 R15 increases the ride height by at least 8mm. It was confirmed with Ford officials that the springs on the S are 10mm shorter than the stock. Net effect GC remains pretty much the same. And the taller, wider tyres significantly improves the vehicle's stance.
Polo GT TDi vs Figo S is what a real comparison should be, GT TSi is spoiled by its DQ200 DSG, no way a hot hatch should have an Auto box, So I say Figo S vs Polo GT TDi vs Punto Abarth!
Ponygt 662 gt tsi is more in tunes with the time It gives the ease of use and practicality of the dsg with 0-100 times on par with bmw 320d So it should be included in this comparo.
That looks like a dungaree. without the straps. Weird. What you guys missed. Does it have that sporty grunt? How does it corner? Top speed? (not that you would be touching that on Indian roads, but it would be great to know) The music is a bit too loud, the VO gets muffled in a lot of places. But a nice review none-the-less.
thanks for the feedback buddy. Grunt, well it's a diesel :P didn't get too much time in twisties to truly test max cornering potential, top speed ummm... it's around 160 km/ph but will keep this is mind when we get to do a full review! :)
