Here in the Netherlands we have a vmax of 100km/h i manage 5Liter easy with a 125hp estate with 18" wheels. On my holiday trip to Germany (600km) with 4 persons + luggage + a small trailer i did 6.3L with medium head wind and on the return trip i managed 5.8L with 110km/h on the spedo, that is exellent and better than my previous MK3 with the same 1.0 125hp non hybrid.
how much was your consumption on your previous one with the 1.0 non hybrid? Like the average, daily consumption, cruising around. Thinking about buying one right now, would you recommend it? Any issues that you had with the vehicle, especially with the engine in it?
I don't know I have my 1.6 Ti-CVT from 2019 - last generation probably. Some light city driving (not at daily basis) + longer roads in radius of 20-40 km from where I live and I got like 6.7l / 100km long-term average, no turbo, no batteries, manual gear. I can see that these 1.0 hybrids can be good in the city where you can get like 2/3 of my consumption but if it is worth of all those tradeoffs like super complicated small over-boosted motors .... I Don't know, honestly I would not buy a second hand Ford 1.0 with mora than 100.000 km as I think those motors have far shorter life time. What do you think ?
I have a Mazda 6 with a 2.0l 147hp NA engine and I must say it’s darn reliable. I have a similar fuel consumption to your car but i also don’t think it’s smart to buy a high stress, small engine. Instead I would go for a Corolla hybrid with the 2.0 engine with hybrid system or a smaller diesel. Depending on where you live there is benefits with both.
Actually a good video. please, please. what engine is that? 125 HP or 155 HP? Automatic transmission or manual transmission? combi (Turnier) or Limousine (4 doors). please always write here.
