Negatives are not at all negatives.. I am using FFS since 8 months. I can live without LED lights, extra door bottle holders. Dash color looks sexy and quality is good, and three 50-60 kg adults can fit in rear seat. Regarding boot space, the guy didn't realize you can load luggage on roof. Fuel efficiency is 12.4 kmpl in bumper to bumper Mumbai traffic. Out of city has given me 18-19.. Sadly majority of Indians care about is 'kitna deti hai'.. Best underrated car of 2018
Hi, i am planning to buy a car. i m confused in freesyle trend or grand i 10 . freestyle is very close to i10 grand sports cost. can you please advice..
I'm using Ford freestyle titanium petrol ,it is just a mini rocket, most enthusiastic driving comfort and nice built quality. I don't think it has even a single negative point.. Awesome car....
@@vishalk1985 been using it for past one year.. Absolutely satisfied.. Got a diesel injector problem which the company replaced absolutely free of cost.. Great company support.. And service charges are very low.. Lowest in the segment. You can text me in watsapp 8301051532..
@@jatacharan it's just great. Have driven it around 800kms and the average mileage is around 13kmpl( city and highway combined). Initial acceleration is just a tud low but it shouldn't be much of a concern. On high speed the car is a beast. I drove it around 130km/hr on the highway and it just put a smile on my face. Handling is superb, engine is quite and refined and it handles pot and bumps like a boss even at high speeds. Overall, there is nothing much to complain about the car really. Just go for it, it's a gem of a machine at this price.
My review after 6 months of usage: 1 Spacious, never felt any seating issues either. 2 Boot looks small but good enough when you actually put luggage inside. 3 It has started to rattle and the rubber below drive window has started to lossen. 4 Infotainment system needs to be updated. 5 Ground Clearance is good but when back seats are occupied the car kissed the ground at some ridges on the road. Overall a good car, if you neglect these issues.
@@anuragmishra1431 kyuki woh dusre platform pe bani hai, heartect par nahi. Aur safety wise brezza bhi koi khaas nahi nexon aur ecosport ke saamne. Aur mai baat to swift aur baleno ki kar raha hoon, tum brezza ko bech me kyu le aaye
Hi Siddharth, - if you're looking to sell your freestyle, please inform me, I am looking for a ford freestyle / figo/ Aspire in diesel variant in the used car market. [place- Mumbai] Or, if you know someone who's willing to sell-out their ford please connect with me [Mumbai registered car would be better]
I have the titanium white gold version that I bought this year in january and I have never been more happier, this car is a gem, probably the best car under 8 lakhs category, will take me a day to write about the things I love about my car
Mere pass i20 aur freestyle diesel dono hai freestyle long drive aur city drive ke liye best hai . I 20 me bahut thakaan hoti hai par freestyle ki seating aur handling i20 ,swift se kafi aage hai Despite of that ,best review by yogiji.. Best review
Bro.. I need to buy a new car.. In this process i have seached across all ones. Now i got stucked between swift and freestyle.. Pls suggest me the better one and value for money variant in 7.5L budget. Iam from Hyderabad
Hi Nishant, good to hear - if you're looking to sell your freestyle, please inform me, I am looking for a ford freestyle / figo in diesel variant in the used car market. [place- Mumbai]
Ford Freestyle BS6 is a practical and a safe car to buy under 10 Lakhs. Amazing torque and good safety features loaded. In my past I owned a 1.9TDI Skoda L&K Combi. After that, I enjoyed driving freestyle. Disappointed with Ford that they are not improving the interior quality and branding well. But am absolutely happy that I chose this car.
The biggest advantage is its metal roof rails.. I have tied 2 large luggage trolleys on it several times... Also I don't know how you drive ..Highway mileage 18+ with AC and city 13-15 ...Most of the freestyle users have reported a very good fuel efficiency.. Please check Facebook page for freestyle users.
Mileage is definitely good in freestyle. In petrol i am getting 15+kmpl including local + highway drive combined. In highways I have also achieved 19kmpl in moderate speed.
@@lafachampion I got titanium petrol at on road price of Rs 6.96 lakh. My yearly running is approx 10k km, hence it's not worth going for diesel variant economically for me.
I own used Figo. 13-14 in Bangalore city traffic and 18-19 easy on the highway with 80-100kmhr speed. If you want mileage then don't go for a Ford. If you want to experience a real drivers car then buy Ford. You will regret later to drive maruti or other brands.
I own a Ford freestyle petrol ambiente which I bought for 5.42 l on road and I approve this review. And it's bang for the buck. Meri aukat to entry level hatchback ki hi thi lekin utne paisome muze 190 mm ground clearance, ABS, Airbags, 96 ps power wali gaadi mili. If you're a driving enthusiast on budget, it's THE car for you.
I own BS6, titanium Petrol. We were 5 people carrying full boot + 3*40 litre rug sacks tied on roof rails. The terrains were very very tough, place: Munsyari (Uttarakhand). I was surprised with the power, handling, turning and comfort. Tested a: 70-80 KMPH in single lane with sharp bends,it won over our expectations. b: Railing smoothly in Steep climbs c: Can carry a lot of load and still gives you same feel. Suggestions to buyers: It's a good vehicle for off roading and highway runners, specially for Hills areas. It's build quality is awesome than competitor brands of same segment and budget. Suggestions to Ford Please work on look of the vehicle, demand of people is curvy and masculine. Please work on its headlights, they are weak. Dealership suggestions: Awesome and gave very very good discount.(Delhi) let me know if someone needs details.
Would like to correct you on grab handles and fuel efficiency part. Due to 6 airbags in titanium plus no grab handles given in rear, rest all variant has it. On fuel efficiency part u I am getting constant 14-15 kmpl in city with ac and highways 18+kmpl. Just needs to follow gear shift indicator in city for better mileage. Rest video was to the point.
@@vitaminprotein.4036 Dude, i'm not a person who is enlightened, he just told the mileage figures in city and on highways when gear shift indicator is followed. My question is about highspeed drive at 120km/hr on highways. 18 or 19 kmpl on highways could only be achieved if driven below 100 km/hr.
I think Titanium plus petrol is great VFM option (considering it's safety features), price is around 8.25 L onroad, even though it's s a 3 cylinder but quite fun to ride. If you want little more space in rear and boot, then aspire's same varient with same engine will be great option (just by putting 25k more).
Using ford from past 5 years and believe it is worth to have, ford cars are safe and having good engines which makes them a good fun to drive car......I have Figo diesel, ecosport petrol AT and aspire Diesel in family and all are awesome.....

Man you are astonishing now this is the review which i was looking for nice presentations all the key points and no time waste and much more infomative best car reviewer LOVED IT
black diamond ... Easy steering control and also light one . You can compare this car with Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno . If you want Safe and Car like XUV then go for it . I am so impress with this car”s Height and Engine power .
Re: Negatives 1. Almost every car has a smaller spare wheel. Why is this an issue specific to Ford Freestyle? 2. Yeah I've never seen people complaining about grab handles in the back seat. 3. Premium feel? Subjective I guess. Yes beige would have been better but that is not what they have been going for. It's a toughie. 4. Weird that you're comparing a 3-cyl to a Diesel ecoboost. Then you'll complain about the mileage because Indian buyers would be crazy about it.
Amazing car below 9.5 lac ...literally gaand ghisswa rakhi hai with showroom sales rep and isliye boll raha hu...dont go for Altroz thigh space less h gaadi driving experience 2/5, Baleno 1/5 safety 0, Swift 3/5, i20 low ground space and high maintainence. Aankh bandd kro lelo....Baad me gaali de denaa
Diesel freestyle is like a rocket. Car runs smoothly even at high speeds of 140km/hr. Road par bilkul chipak kar chalti hai not like others. U will feel its weight while driving on high speeds
***HAPPY DIWALI EVERYONE**** I want to buy a second hand car. I have 3 options=> First being Ford Freestyle 1.2 Petrol Titanium October 2019 Model; 14000 kms single handedly driven; I am getting in 6.3 lacs? Third is Maruti Suzuki XL6 2020 Petrol Top Model; just 360kms driven; selling because of financial issues; Selling Amount 11.25 lacs ??? PLEASE SUGGEST.....Its going to be my FIRST CAR. Which option should I choose??
Bottle holders at the rear are compensated by middle bottle holders. Ample bottle holders for front passengers. Rear passengers can reach out to grab a bottle from the centre.
Nice review. Smart observations. Need to know few more points : 1. Average Fuel efficiency 2. Average Maintenance Cost 3. Quality of the Feel of Music 4. Available Colour options 5. After sales service network 6. If I intend to keep it for long , then is this a good proposition? 7. Better , if you kindly arrange a comparison with Hyundai i20 Active. Thank you and God bless. @@prajwalsrivastava8729 I bought freestyle titanium petrol in siliguri west bengal and it cost me 7.47 lacs on road. Road tax is on a bit higher side here.
Awesome Review, As I am using freestyle diesel variant from past 3 months the car is seriously wow, be it performance, be it pickup, be it average, be it feel, comfort, ambience, driving, ground clearance, stability etc this car deserve thumps up in every aspects except boot space and rear door bottle holder... Well we are living in India and the herd policy over here tin Ka dibba, kitna deti hai and resale value this is bullshit.. LOVE YOUR VIDEO BROTHER KEEP IT UP
I had a ride of 500 km in the hill with 5 people+ full boot + 3 rug suck bags tied on roof rails. The vehicle was running smoothly and I witnessed it's power
Guys few things - in variant upto trend plus you get complete black interior like ecosport, thats the reason I picked up this variant as I don't need 6 airbags. - mileage differs from driving style, so to say the least I get 12.5 in city with or without air-conditioner (as shown by odometer) - trend plus offers adjustable headrest and grab handles on the rear, grab handles are scrapped from top variants because of air bag positioning 👎 - I got my headlamp changed to Philips and visibility improved (dont remember the specs, will share) -one point I noticed is it accumulates hell lot of dust under all doors even if its driven by single user which means you literally didn't opened any door except driver side and still dust gets in all doors.. strange.. - position of uncooled glove box and roof lamp is not practical.. - biggest negative the power window switches are not illuminated which means you need to guess where it is all the time.. will add more things as I come. across with my petrol freestyle..
It does not have Seat Belt Pre-tensioner & Force Limiters; which helps prevent excessive load on chest during accident. A standard safety feature across industry.
I have a xuv 500 ...and now I’m planning to buy a small car like i20 .. but from some days I have been noticing the freestyle ..and the car is just phenomenal very good car
Go ahead bro.. Its a mini xuv 500..good clearance.. Abs ebd ARP, ESP, TCS, hill assist.. What all you need in this segment!... Absolute perfect handling, good power, mileage, cheap service cost.. 1year and 18k kms done by me.. Diesel titanium
I own a freestyle titanium petrol , apart from fuel efficiency issue, this is a awesome machine to drive. Agree with the positive points mentioned in the video.
@@Himanshu-Garhwali earlier I used to get around 9 to 11. Then I changed my driving style. I drive with live milage display on in the MID and try to keep it at maximum. Its kind of boring but it helps to get good milage.

Your Fuel efficiency figures are wrong..i get 14-15 in city with light pedal driving and have got 20kmpl on consistent highway with ac on at 70-90...hav got consistently 17.5-18 with mix usage..

Why is the prize of ford freestyle increased from 5.09 lakh to 5.43 lakhs? Have ford added some new feature to increase the prize? Or not? I am planning to buy it's base petrol variant because of my limited budget. Will it be a wise decision? Or should I look forward to other brands like Hyundai or maruti?
Own a Titanium+ petrol and agree with all the points except the interiors, actually prefer the brown n black treatment since it easier to maintain. Very well presented review. One of best cars to drive in the segment and raised ground clearance doesn't surprise you on India roads. I am also getting similar mileage figure in City(Bangalore), but cannot complain when most of the time it is stuck in traffic and AVG speed of 18km/hr. Ford should really work on rear seat comfort and quality of life changes.
@Arjun P Nair oh ya that's why even now EcoSport fire news even in 2018. And yea check again google news feed bruh and stay updated.. and ford themselves announced of phasing out the EcoSport . www.carshowroom.com.au/news/ford-fiesta-suv-due-2020-ecosport-to-be-killed-with-fire/
Hello, ICN team. My sister is owner of Diesel Freestyle. I also drive this lovely car. I support to you and your team, that this car is best to buy in its prize range and suggest to all people's, who want to own a car in this range, just try once a time, then take decision for best car for you. Dear ICN team, One more -ve point i want to add in your -ve remark for Freestyle, is this car has no split rear seat facility, like maruti S-cross and etc. 😞😖😟
@@ICN sir kya mileage itna kharab hai iska...ki chalaane se pahle sochna pde..fun to drive bhi petrol kr baad hi milti hai.. I hve budget for t+ petrol..should I wait and collect 2 lacks more to buy it's diesel..
@@muralivenkataraman5922 Its been 4 months and 4000kms. Really excellent car it is and i am in love with it. We feel like inside a beast while on highway long drive. Great handling and drivability. Can do sharp cuts in traffic excellent control. Mileage is good 17kmpl on highway and 14.6 for daily office though pickup is awesome. I am impressed. Auto headlamp and wipers are really helping a lot. Hill start assist if super supportive frequently. Tyre pressure monitor would have been more helpful but missing it. My recommendation is just go for it, you will not regret.
Very nice and informative video. New Flair edition has ben launched and is justified over Titanium plus variant. My question is that despite a very good looking and beast car, why sale of freestyle is very very low. Please reply as I am planning to buy this car over i20, Baleno, Altroz, Glanza....
