its the same for me, about the new gt. well, i do like the car, but im not crazy about it. same goes for most new cars made right now and after 2006-ish. i think its the styling of the cars that doesn't seem that special, like all of them are made with performance in mind, so they're very rounded, for areodynamic reasons. but i miss the angular charm of the older cars, like the gt90 for example, the car is very angular, its whole schtick is triangles(im kinda surprised they didn't go all the way and put in a quad rotor quad turbo engine), and the car had and has a fairly low drag coefficient. maybe its my nostalgia talking, as i grew up playing ps1 and ps2 racing games such as gt2, ToCA race driver 2, etc. even though, i was born in '98 but that's besides the point. i honestly would like to see a 70's throwback with car styling(but that's not gonna happen, as angles and boxes = bad drag coefficient = bad fuel economy). no matter how well i try to convey my feelings into words, i just can't. i can't seem to put my finger, why exactly i long for such vehicles, even though, they were way past their prime when i came to the realize why i like them so much, and why i long for them. P.S. sorry for the wall of text, i just went on a 3:45 am tangent.
I don't know, in my opinion isn't just about the curves, modern cars, especially supercars are soulless, yeah they may look cool they don't have the charm and the character of the supercars from the 80s and 90s.
Ford GT90, we drove it in a few games, like NFS2, we loved it, we were sad it was never a production car. The GT90 is as 90s as a car can get. And you made it even better using 90s music.
I think he did on his old channel a while ago maybe. But if he did another one that was very thorough thatd be great, If I had editing skills I'd make one myself but I havent found like great video on Saab.
