Yourself and guys like Jason have such a hard job nowadays with all the paint choices it's crazy mixing about 7 colours to make one colour far play big grant you always do a fantastic job 👏

Good luck with round two Grant. I had the same thing with an Audi last year. Was a tight headache.

The bumpers in some colours always look off due to the different materials used. Ford issued a TSB a few years back for it.

I had a brand new Ford focus titanium x in my garage the bumper was a different colour under fluorescent light but outside in daylight in looked the same has rest of the car Love the channel 👍

This basecoat doesn't match anywhere near as well as that water based you used to use does it? Obviously the previous blow ins aren't helping though. I thought the water base nearly always matched although harder to use with drying problems etc during cold weather. What are your thoughts?

Mate that car looks like Josephs multi colour dream coat so I think you did well to get the colour as good as it is BUT I'm partially colour blind so wtf do I know😂I can see all the different shades on the panels front and black but I've no idea how you see that it's bluer🤷‍♂I should be your personal colour matcher Grant god knows what colours I would mix for you😊👍

I had a blue Kuga 16 plate, lovely blue that the ST focus etc came in....... exactly the same the panels and bumper colours were all over the place. Really let down a crackin car.... crappy ford paint from factory.

those parts don't match a lot of times because the trim parts and fascia are painted separate from the body

It looked too dart when u put the base on through the masking plastic

Shit happens , sometimes we try and talk the colour too match but when we step back and look we know its bad and can't live with it 🙄. This happens to every painter and met greys can be an absolute pain greener, bluer, redder, lighter,darker the list goes 😑.
