Great video. My dealer salesman told me that driving my fx4 in "slippery" mode will approximate "eco" mode. Would be great to see a video getting your take on a comparison of the two. Also wondering if driving in slippery mode when roads aren't slippery could be detrimental in any way long-term.
It is similar but I think eco mode does even less engine braking. I've found that in Eco mode I can get 1 MPG better over Normal maybe 2 MPG on a trip.
Slippery mode indeed is similar to eco, I like to drive in slippery mode and have CC on, the truck acceleration is done better imo, it doesn't just floor the pedal as normal or other modes.
Maverick Truck Mods, I've only had my '23 maverick XL Hybrid for a little over a month and haven't really drove it because of doing Mods, etc. Anyways, my XL has loaded as standard equipment the Sport, Eco, etc. modes. I don't understand why you had to load the different drive modes using Forscan on your FX4.
FX4 models do not come with ECO or Sport Modes as they have other off-road modes and likely Ford thought it would be too many modes. I have mud, sand, etc. So with an FX4 you have to add Eco and Sport.
