Amazing that it’s a 1500 gpm unit. I’m a little surprised you don’t have a booster reel standard with this. I’m sure it’s going to be used as a brush unit as well as mini rescue, quick attack, EMS and so on. The out lying fire stations in Clark County NV use these type units at all of there stations. Every station has one of these “squad” units, a slash A pumper, or 2, and a tanker, some also run ALS rescue/transport, units, but not all. Each station does have one of these as the main or first out unit to 75% of there calls and they work out very well. Surprised more don’t use these.
I would like to see them mount a booster reel on this apparatus especially being a quick attack. They are much easier to deploy and reload. That very rear compartment would be ideal for mounting the booster reel.
