what about the 12v power output? This particular setup seems to have removed that.

I'm usually on the same boat, love buttons over any touch controls.. Except now that I'm missing a button on my ac controls on my mk4 mondeo with the upgraded unit and there is nobody selling those buttons anymore.. Can only buy the whole lower part of the unit for that one button which is upwards of 200£ 🥲

@@Boughanmi-11 Touch screen rarely worked after a few months, I removed it months ago. Dealing with Aliexpress for replacement or refund was impossible, hope yours is OK. I liked it when it was working.

volume up and down works, skip back acyually skips forward and skip forward goes back. There is settings to program the controls but this doesn't work on my unit. So to answer your question, it works a little bit.

Look at the video, blue box on new radio is for steering wheel control, heater control plugs are plugged into new unit. Installer is using poor quality tools and left some stages out.

I think there is a slightly different one that fits correctly, having a bit of a issue with mine after 6 months, so I'm not recommending this to you.

Depends on the Can-Bus adapter and settings on the HU. There are some HU that have specific options for different car models. But all have something in common they aren't supported to the 100%. More like 20%. Radio channels do not have a name anymore just the frequency is displayed on the IPC. Everything BT same for AUX related works through the aftermarket HU even phone calls that's why you need an extra microphone because the built-ins are not supported. It is recommended to remove the BT modul above the glove box. Voice Control does not work but some HU allows programming like mute everything. Be cautious what PDC-Signal system you have. There are 'rare' cases where the car doesn't have extra speakers for it and are combined with radio - in that case you need to get an adapter (which isn't known much of it or install speakers yourself).

Mine also takes 2+ mins to find a GPS signal, I'm wondering if the antenna is slightly blocked inside the dash.

I don't recommend this stereo, it has stopped working and the seller isn't replying to my messages.

Go to 19:39 in the video and make sure you have that connector on the left connected, it goes next to the 2x USB connectors.

Steering wheel controls work with volume up/down. skip back actually skips forward and vice versa. So steering controls are sketchy. air con control seems to work ok, but some have had problems with this.

Hi, Yes while I made the video I hadn't connected the 2x wire from the Cam Bus to the stereo next to the 2x USB plugs in. When I connected those it all worked OK.

@@chrismatkowski2571 The Air con and heating controls works from from the touch screen, the steering wheel volume works and a couple of the other controls, not perfect tho.

I'm not recommending this unit to anyone, had some problems with it which come and go. When it works it's great.

Hi, I've just had my zoyoskii delivered and was wondering if you could tell me how your unit is going now or tell me what problems i should look out for. my unit came with an obd2 connector that has a 2 wire plug on then end which I think connects to a plug on the quadlock but I'm not sure what benefits I would have from this as everything seems to be working just now [air conditioning and infotainment]. any advice would be greatly appreciated. kind regards; Geoff

@@danielgrendalbrrs671 It is absolutely fine apart from a couple of things. The convers+ still works. I can’t get the voice control to work. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing wrong so if you do decide to get one of these maybe you could let me know how to use it . The outside temperature displays zero on the unit and never changes, when you open the front doors it shows the opposite door in the display as I think it’s designed for left hand drive cars and I can’t get the digital speedometer to work but these are things that I don’t use. Everything else works as it should, the air con, heater all the apps I’ve installed for music and sat nav, I even managed to get the dab radio to work with the cars dab aerial and it doesn’t lose signal (don’t buy a small roof aerial cos it looks good it won’t work for the dab you need the long aerial with the twisted wire round it to amplify the signal) and Bluetooth works fine too. All my steering wheel functions work as well but I did have to change a setting to change the next track steering wheel function as they were reversed. I’m glad I bought this it does everything I need it to do and it looks really good it’s like having a tablet in the car. If I’ve missed anything just ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can

Hi again Geoff. I decided to buy one of these and are in the process of installing it now. I'm also having the issues that many are stating here with the Aircon. Did you have any issues with that when you installed yours?

I'm trying to buy one off ebay at the moment. I sent them a picture of my dash and apparently if you have the manual air con then you can't have this screen. You need to get the screen which just replaces the radio, instead of the whole centre bit

Its not very obvious from this video but you must keep the original air conditioner controller connected for the touch screen unit to work! I cable tied my original air conditioner controls up and behind the flat screen.
