Usa will not get the best cars like the europeans do get for many reasons such as fuel prices engines , stiling models ,,, For example why do you think we in europe get soo freaking efficiant diesels when you in usa are stuck with 3,5 and 5 litter diesel when we in europe have big powerfull cars with just 1.8.2.0 l disels its because of oil prices ;) same with styling there is reason
You do realise the same design team worked on both the Aston Martin revival in the 2000's, resulting in their current direction, and the current line up of Fords? I think it's brilliant that there are affordable, practical Fords that look as good as Aston Martins!
Ben B. Rogue But they didn't need to make a carbon copy. Kia's design team are largely ex PSA but they don't look identical to Peugeot and Citroen. It's not an excuse.
How can you review a car by just looking at it? You get a boot net in a Skoda Octavia, Mazda 6. Looks out of date to me design wise already and the deal breaker is the steering has no feedback, apparently.
***** It says reader 'review' on the blurb, maybe think about altering that? I'm being a bit pedantic,, only a suggestion. At the end of the day though, I'm just looking for a trusted review. You guys do a good job, these are not my cup of tea though. You can't evaluate car by looking at it.
1 litre engine???? wtf? The 2 litre tdci 163 diesel is slow compared to the MK3 Mondeo 130ps, so the 1 litre engine must be a joke. Don't be fooled by Fords overrated BHP figures. They are BS. New Mondeo's are slower than ever.
A bmw 318d has a 2L with 116HP, Ford 1L ecoboost engine power starts at 125HP. You may think it looks old fashion and bland but truth be told it has more kit as standard than a 3 series bmw including HEATED windscreen on basic zetec models, no BMW has heated screen. Compare this car titanium X next to a bmw 3 series the bmw will look like a joke seriously
They are actually not bad in Europe and Asia. I live in NZ and most Most Mondeos and Falcons here are near bullet proof. I owned a 2002 ST Mondeo that had done 330,000KM, it was an ex rep car, had a few scrapes but it ran like it had just rolled off the lot new. Most high KM Falcons here are ex taxi's and have over 400,000KM on the clock and are more than 10 years old. I was looking at buying a long wheelbase BA Falcon with 470,000KM of taxi driver abuse and it still felt and looked fresh!
