The car doesn’t have many modifications. The following works have been done: exhaust, intercooler, ecu remap and trim. Nothing that catches the eye 😊

Mine is averaging 27mpg (mixing city and highway) so 8L/100km. Best I did was 32mpg (7L/100km) and lowest is around 23mpg (~10L/100Km) so definitely better in gas than the V8

@@nicolasavezou7345 ive had mine as low as 16 mpg. And i put the highest octane fuel in my '16 which is 93 around where i live.

@@tyler3732 in the Netherlands we pay almost €60k (around $70k in dollar) just tax for the V8 engine. The GT500 version here costs around €140k ($160k) Nobody here can afford an V8 😴

Mustangs were never muscle cars now their sports cars with a turbo im glad v8s are to expensive to fuel

Ford starting manufacturing the Mustang with a 2.3L 4 cylinders back in the 70s with the introduction of the second generation of Mustang in 1974. No one at the time ever said those were not Mustangs, funny how views changed almost 50 years later

The year 1967 The 390-cid (6.4-liter) V-8 produced 335 hp, 302-cid (4.9-liter) V-8 , Ford offered a 428-cid (7.0-liter) Cobra Jet V-8 rated at 335 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. In 1969, Ford dropped the 289 and added a new 351-cid (5.8-liter) V-8 with 250 or 290 hp. , while the Boss 429 put the 375-hp, 429-cid (7.0-liter).

@@mario_digre In the states we have a 'gas guzzler' tax for vehicles that don't exceed a average MPG of like 22.5, but only to cars. 5.0's fall into that. But what you're saying doesn't sound much different than any reason not to own one in USA either, so hey thanks.

I couldn’t find exact figures but it seems the 2.3T engine doesn’t weigh significantly less than the 5.0 (in the later generation) with the difference of only about 150 pounds, possibly. Wouldn’t think that should make too much difference in the front. I’ve never driven a GT but so far my 2020 Ecoboost Premium has performed very well on winding back roads in the Texas jill country, and I’ve not had any issues with its handling/performance. I’d rather have the V8 but in the end decided the 4 is just more practical for me.
