Should really be recommending h-pipes in coyotes. Makes them 1000x more bearable to be around, and makes them so much deeper sounding. Because with an x pipe, coyote owners are the 350z owners of the pony car world.
I have the MBRP Street cat back that comes with an h pipe on my car and I used to think that it might have slapping sound, but it actually sounds pretty good. Even got a few thumbs up by car folks.
Being honest, straight pipes only work for V8's and above. I have yet to hear a good V6(or 4 banger) without a muffler. They need some sort of can to get rid of the wet fart stink.
I have a 2020 civic sport sedan (it's the 2.0 NA motor). I did a muffler delete and kept the factory resonator. It has a really good tone to it for being a civic. I kept the resonator so I don't have that God awful high pitched raspy sound.
Damn the 6 sounds like it needs a crossover, and probably bottle resonators to take the volume down a bit, and possibly some Chambers to give it a little more grunt. The coyote is a bit too raspy for my taste, and while I'm a fan of the, "to each their own," mentality, I'm not sure why he hacked up an active exhaust like this just for a delete. Oh well.
@clog Gaming absolutely but atleast my car knows that it’s shitty, that’s a cool car with a shitty engine Also how is that relevant. Saying “I bet you have something worse” dosent change the point I made
@@11D7-n8d bro you don’t know what you’re talking about the 3.7 v6 is a great engine and can make a lot of power. Mfs only hate on it because it’s in a mustang and everyone wants to be a purist. Y’all just scared to get gapped by 3.7😭 3.7 gaps 5.0s with basic mods
V6 don’t sound that bad, you just never wanna straight pipe a v6 WAYY too raspy, you wanna get a glass pack, all that thin metal vibrating is not good, but you get a cheery bomb for the mufflers and keep the resonators, it sounds actually rlly good unless you red line it
I personally think they should go with the bumper... the "quad tips" on the V8, the inner one is further in than the outer, should be the opposite to go wit the curve of the back valance.
@@NXT_LVL the tips are on there correctly.. those are staggered tips and the inner one is longer than the outer one so it flows along with the bumper there is a right and left pair there is no way they put them on in reverse
Its because they put them on the wrong way. The tips are supposed to taper with the bumper. I have quad tips on my challenger like this and the longer ones should be in the center towards the point of the bumper, and short on the outside.
I am a fan of the Cyclone and Coyote engines but both sound horrible with muffler and resonator deletes. Especially the black V6. Should have installed a x or h pipe and Borla Atak mufflers on both.
@@1986hvwchampion You can make them sound good and there are good sounding V6 Mustangs. The issue is that people never do their research before touching this exhaust. There is no excuse because we have RU-vid so you can compare and find out what sound good and what don't. You can not go cheap when it comes to V6 exhausts. Deletes 99% of the time do not sound good. Spend some money and do it right.
I didn’t have resonators, cats, or mufflers (SLP Loudmouth axle backs) and my car sounded great. Got tons of compliments. No v6 will ever sound as great as a V8 no matter what imo. Sounds like poot.
Coyotes need H Pipes and some sorta of muffler. You can get away with a muffler delete if you leave the suitcase IMO. ALLLLLLLLSO, stop cutting valved exhaust off, literally cutting a $1,000 option off the car for shitty muffler deletes.
I was an adolescent toward the end of the muscle car era. It was common then for cars like late 60's to early 70's Chargers, Cudas, Mustangs, Challengers, Camaros, etc. to pull up at stop lights on major boulevards, rev their engines, and do a short drag race. All modern cars just sound like weak fart machines compared to cars of that era, and I don't get the obsession with listening to their exhaust. But then, cars are built very differently now, and I know that sound and power aren't necessarily related, and I'd really like to have a modern Mustang someday. It's just that the sound of the exhaust is the last thing I care about.
Just a question why straight pipe a v6 mustang ? Needs back pressure . Sounds worse than the ecoboost . if you want to make power your gunna have to add some back pressure.
Guy on the v6 could have easily had a really good sounding v6 mustang all he had to do was bbk shorties then do an h pipe and a muffler delete simple as that.
The V6 sounds way better from the factory stock. I had a 2016 Lincoln mkz 3.7 and didn't touch it. Sounds like a fart can every time I hear someone modifying it. Shame. Sure it's quiet, stock. But when you get on it it's loud enough. You want good exhaust with grunt get a V8. I've had a Genesis 5.0, charger 5.7, and now a bmw 6.0 V12. No replacement for displacement. Nothing wrong with a V6 but don't mod the exhaust. Just don't.
kome on man you know damn well that v6 / or eco boost don’t compare to no v8.. no fair at all. i have a eco and i refuse to do anything with my exhaust bc the 5.0 just sounds to good. best v8 muscle car i swear💯
The stock active exhaust sounds better than that cheesy straights pipe for the 5.0 and i wouldn't touch the v6 exhaust now it sounds absolutely horrible.it's better quite
I was so excited for the 3.7 when it cranked up but then it took off and sounded like that. It's like having a wet dream about your cousin, yea your happy you had one but so disappointed at the same time.
Got about 18 on my stang too but i dare not touch my exhaust because i cant go on the fart noises like that v6 lmao especially since i have a 4 but soon in march or april ill be buying a gt500 so f it
um because when i bought my S550 at 19 my insurance company was going to charge me literally over 3 times more for 2 extra cylinders. even now almost at 21 nothing is different.
They both sound awful, this is why 90% of Mustang owners leave their cars exhaust fully stock, let's leave the exaust mods, resonator deletes and straight pipes to the real muscle cars like the Chargers and Challengers.
All v6/4cyl sound horrible they have nothing organic about them. Damn near every 4cyl/6cyl sounds identical minus Mitsubishi/Subaru mustangs hondas camaros charger/challenger all sound like ass
Wonder if homeboy/girl realizes they just lost power removing the mid-pipe and running true duals.. also it sounds like dog shit. Some peoples children..
