We ain't afraid of that overrated C8 ZR1, this GTD is way more high tech than that 1960's vintage refrigerator, remember it have pushrod suspension, DRS, GT3 inspired aero design, equipped with magnesium wheels, built with carbon fiber, meanwhile the ZR1 got all those big horsepower ready for understeering into the sand pit
I do kind of feel like if the ZR-1 beats the GTD or even comes close, it undermines the entire point of bothering with this car being a GT3 for the streets, getting beat by a regular car built for the streets. The GTD’s price really kind of ruins what the Mustang is supposed to be. My opinion is they would have been better off building another variant of the Ford GT. We’ll see though.
Please state your reasoning. This car has a specific purpose, so does the ZR1. They both are excellent in their respective categories. The closest comparison to this is the Camaro ZL1.
