Hi was smoke coming out. I experienced the same issue but my issue is that I forgot to put the pin out to secure the sensor. Coolant splashed everywhere! I managed to pull up on time because there was smoke coming out from under the hood.
@marlenea539 if you have a air compressor, you can get the vacuum coolant bleeder at Advance. That will make sure its full and all the air is out of the system.
Bro I dead ass have this isssue RIGHT NOW !! Replaced thermostat housing completely 1x and it came defective ! !!! (ITS MADE OF PLASTIC TRASH ) I didn’t check the thermostat either ! My stang just started to over heat and literally shoot out the coolant near the temp sensor . I kept thinking it was a blown head gasket 😢 But will update tonight ! Will bleed the coolant system for any air pockets and change the thermostat ! ( will put in hot water before installing ) Will update soon …….
@@Mylifeinthepitsbut i replaced the water pump before it did all this and it continued to push out coolant from the housing weep hole and replaced temp sensor like ughhh took it to the mechanic bout to go check up now …. Will update
