My turn signals would come on but not flash. Hazards would flash fine. 1989 mustang gt. Problem was the flasher relay located under the dash on the opposite side of the fuse panel.
I had an issue where my blinkers stopped working, no lights on the dash or anything, but the hazards worked. The issue for me was a loose wire in the hazard wiring harness. It didn’t appear loose at all, but after pressing them in firmly, the blinkers started working again.
I've been trying to get a straight forward answer on this for the past week I got a new ignition switch and that didn't work my signals don't come on at all but I get the hazards, gonna have to get a new turn signal lever?
I would check fuse first, then pull your hazard switch out of the cluster and make sure no wires pulled of it, the same for the multifunction switch under the column, and if that doesn't work I would order a new lever / switch assembly on LMR. You should also look up the multifunction switch under the column and in my case I had to kind of run a zip tie around it to hold it tighter because it was losing contact. I will see if I can find a video of that particular part and post it here
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s3MnFUAdveI.html do you see how he has a zip tie around his. I had to do that with mine also to make a good connection
@@myeighty-nine7813 I noticed when messing with mine I was getting no lights on the dash when that contact under the column did not have a super tight connection. I've seen lots of videos with guys with zip ties around theirs to really hold that connection tight. I'd check that out
My 97 mustang’s blinker switch works SOMETIMES, but right now it’s stopped almost completely, it makes a sound for maybe two seconds and the light flashes very briefly, but what can I do to fix this, people say it’s a fuse, a relay, or the switch itself but everyone says theirs doesn’t tune on at all. Can anyone help?
