Seems like a lot of black smoke for only a 45hp tune I'm just about to go to singles on my stock 268k mi F350 and let Jody tune stock computer for 60hp but not if it black smoked like that wide open
Maybe if i had a bigger turbo yes but for a stock turbo its everything i could of ask. I towed 15k ish once on hills and it went flawlessly. Just make sure ur brakes are up to date.
Lets put it this way. I never ever said the words i wish i had more injectors when driving this truck. I dont know if the guys at P. I. S made me a special injector but these are the best and they haull ass
@@TENMILSOCKETGARAGE thats what I was looking for. Its easy to get carried away😂 i have a 1.0 and KC balanced assembly with sxe style turbine I dont wanta get too much injector theb need more turbo again 😅 I use it so good to hear from someone who uses it
Hey how do you get your 7.3 to do that purring sound after the turbo spoils up right before the turbo bark? I want mine to sound like that but can’t seem to figure it out! I have a 4 inch straight pipe, 4 inch down pipe, stock injectors. Please let me know!
its the wastegate sound. i went 4" downpipe with 5" straight back and a 33psi wastegate actuator and mine does it as well. a good cold air intake helps too for that turbo whistle :)
i still have my exhaust back pressure valve and mine makes that noise. the ebpv only actuates when your oil temp is below a set point has nothing to do with bleeding off boost pressure
theres a sweet spot. 2nd gear is easiest on an auto. follow the boost with your right foot until it spools good and lay off completely, the quicker the engine drops rpm the better. its easier with a smaller exhaust housing. i was addicted to it after i straight piped mine and added the cold air with the stock smaller super duty turbo, i did have the ebpv pedestal and flapper deleted. did it without smoke even. now i have a 66/88 compressor and a 1.0 a/r exhaust, its damn near impossible unless i turn my chip up.
REDS_GARAGE I wish my stock clutch would handle it but I just don't thank it would. And I gotta have injectors so I'm going 160cc. I got a a 1996 ford f350 dually 7.3 2wd 5 speed
Lbm Shepherd supposly the prevoius owner installed an HD clutch 4-5 years ago and used a solid massflywheel but i dont know. Maybe u can do the injector job and use low tune for now till u upgrade the clutch
Nice I have 96 powerstroke I'm rebuilding, i thought maybe it was aftermarket. It sounds good would my stock one sound like that? My truck is a 5 speed as well.
sorry for the delay man went to the hospital. nway the trick is you gotta do the ebpv delete google 7.3 ebpv delete remove the butterly and this sound will amplify the chewww sound when u let off
