I have an 05 Sport Trac with the console. Actually want to fabricate a jump seat and upholster it with leather like the other seats (look for a donor from the junkyard) and then add ac, vents, and 12 v in the rear but don't know if it's possible?

Hey, just seeing this now! Sorry I don't think I can make and ship them but you can make them with just a piece of angle iron, an angle grinder, and a drill.

Perhaps but I think most cars allow you to adjust the seat position without the key on. I didn’t want to have to turn the key on in order to slide the seat forward and access the rear cargo area. Or sometimes when someone short drives you have to slide the seat back before you can even get in. If it were heated seats I definitely would because that’s something you can actually leave on an kill the battery. The seat adjustments are all momentary switches so they won’t use power unless you’re actively actuating them.

For the airbag switch I just tucked it behind the center console. This process didn't trigger an airbag light because I used the original seatbelt buckles.

Oh if you meant the little indicator light next to the keyhole switch, yeah I just ticked that whole unit away

It’s not a heated seat. I think if you got some heated seats the process would be the same but you might need an additional fused wire or a larger wire for the heat portion. You’d have to look up how much amps the heating elements draw.

Might only be limited or Eddie Bauer had heated seats
