I agree, but, the truth is, just to replace the front-rear bumpers- and or trim with another oem one would cost a fortune, and that's if you can get your hands on one. It only takes some bell-end to rear-end you and that quick spin becomes a expensive drive. Sadly that's why you don't see any out in the real world, too many idiots on the road that could rear end you at the traffic lights (but not in a gay way 😲)

I never said these wheels were stock I said I have the stock wheels but they are very dangerous as they do not allow enough air through and they walk the front discs and make them overheat which causes brake fade and you do not want that in a fast car Ford offered three different colours for this particular car never heard anyone complaining about the colour of these cars

@@wirdy1 OK! Where do I start ripping this statement to pieces? Let's start with the basics, no matter where you live in the UK, the air is very damp, loads of moisture, even if you have good humidity and temp control, you're going to have damp air in your lovely warm 'dry' bubble! That's your main problem, couple that with the acidic gases from the car battery......not good! Tyres, like spinning, they like running, being used, leave them standing and they deform, you'll get a permanent flat spot! Brakes, do not like being stood idle, they like being used, the brake fluid goes off, it sucks up moisture like a sponge, makes a hell of a mess of your brake lines, calipers and internal seals of your master cylinder etc, discs corrode, calipers sieze up.....not great. Fuel.....lost count of how many times I've had to replace fuel lines, pumps, rails, injectors, carburettors, regulators etc etc due to fuel stood in them for a long duration! Musty interior, a cars interior likes to have nice clean fresh air flowing through it, if not it can soon start getting very musty and smelly, hard to get rid of that smell, had to sell cars in the past due to that issue! Engine......Lots of issues but the main issue is oil sitting in the sump for long periods isn't ideal, it needs to be flowing around the engine to keep parts lubricated, to protect parts and keep critical seals working properly......a car engine, if left for long periods needs to be run periodically! Rubber and other seals are all over a car, from the engine, to the brakes, interior, around doors, windows and other openings such as the boot and sun roof, all those seals just perish if left for long periods.....again not great! I could go on and on and really educate you but that's your first lesson over, if you want some more just comment below, I'll happily help you out. 😎👍

I'm with Leon on this one, yes you're right about things deteriating but it will never be written off or severely damaged sitting in that workshop, whilst also going up on value. Any work needing remedy from sitting in that bubble is probably a joy for Leon to do

@@brickpug6088 You're missing the point! A car like that needs to be driven or at least trailer it around to car shows and show it off. In my honest opinion, it's such a waste leaving it in a 'protective' bubble just for the sake of it going up in value! An owner needs to drive a car to truly enjoy it, no fun just staring at one through a murky looking polythene cover!! 🤔😁😯 Each to their own I guess. 👍😎
