Ford Super Duty Horn Relocation 

I had the same thing happen on my 2017 F250 last year. Except they didn't cut the wire, just unplugged the connector at the horn. I have a Lariat Ultimate package so a little different grill, but same basic premise. They went through the window the same way and popped the inside door lock up as well. They messed up my door panel doing this, which insurance replaced. This was the third time they hit my truck. The first resulted in the door lock delete, the second required replacing the back door driver's side window, and the third was the horn disconnect/window break. Thanks for showing this easy way to move the horn. I saw another video but it was for a gas engine and they relocated the horn down to the drivers side by the core support. No room on the diesel's in that spot. I will be moving my horns to where you have yours now along with the wiring modification. Thanks for this!!!!

This happened to my 2015 F150 yesterday. I was at Barton Creek Square Mall in Austin, TX. I was also parked close to the entrance and it was broad daylight. They unplugged the horn via the grill, then broke into the driver’s side door by breaking the lock tumbler with pliers. Seems to be a real issue here in south Texas. Luckily I didn’t have any valuables for this piece of garbage to take. Thanks for the video, very helpful.

Thanks for the video! The '23's are no different. You can easily reach through the grill and clip the horn wires. Pretty stupid on Ford's part, but not surprising. The same empty stud is there on the firewall, so I'll take your approach. I hate all the dirtbags that make you have to do this sort of stuff.

How did you fix your door handle? Do we have to buy new? Or can we snap the pried out one back in?

Would you be able to share part numbers for the connectors? Great idea.
