FORD XA COUPE 351 CLEVELAND CAMSHAFT BREAK IN 

For the people that don't know the Ford Cleveland is a beast. One of the best Musclecar Small Block V8's. A true big block killer. The secret was in the cylinder heads. Canted valves flowed more air producing more power. Love what you guys did with this fine example of Australian muscle.

What lubricant did you put on the cam lobes and lifter faces? And any particular oil you recommend with a flat tappet break in? Cheers

Love watching and following this channel. I am hoping someone here could help me out as I am quite the novice when it comes to cars. I recently bought a silver fox XW with a 351c. I have had the engine completely rebuilt. Every thing is in good order other then a whistle noise which slowly comes in at around 3700 - 4000 rpm and gets loader untill you release the throttle and load on engine and then it stopes with a kind of last blow of air (similar to a turbo sound). Hope this makes sense and someone can point me in the right direction of locating the whistle. I have replaced the brake booster vacuum line and PCV vacuum line. I have checked stop return valves. I have done the foot pedal brake booster tests. Thanks for your time. Any response is much appreciated.
