Just to let you know that lever is the draft control for your life arms. When engaged it will raise the arms automatically when ploughing, example if the plough was to hit a large rock. Hope this helps.
I guess someone should have told you by now, that the little position control lever has two positions only and should be LEFT HORIZONTAL for controlling the up and down 'position' of implements and general loads and will correspond to the position of the quadrant lever. But the little position control lever should be LEFT VERTICAL for 'draught' control, again the up and down position of implement will be set by the quadrant lever. HOWEVER, in 'draught control' position, any inward pressure on the TOP link, in towards the rear of tractor (compressing the big top link spring), will make the lower arms RAISE, which will lift the implement out of the ground a bit, -which then makes the TOP link spring back out again, -which stops the BOTTOM links raising anymore. IE there is a feedback between the links. Note: the whole purpose of 'draught control', is so that if the plough etc runs into a boulder, the plough will automatically lift out of the ground to go over it. It will not do that in 'position control'.
