FORDSON N DURING WARTIME 

Loved it. These historic documents really give you a feel for things of a different time.

We have 2 Fordson majors, great tractors,, they will go all day on 1 gallon.. Regular oil changes, filters etc.. And we also have finger mower we use on these,, perfect match.. Great video. Memories are incredible.

We can learn so much from this, even today. Thank you, I'll be sharing this video for sure.

Farm work it's a constant struggle without proper machinery.

I like how blunt these old commercials are. “The other brands suck, so buy ours”

As my sainted grandad used to say , the cheapest tool is the most expensive to buy if you look after it . Don't look after it and you'll pay more over the years .

Still in 2021 there are farmers with lack of maintenance..... Not much is changed since.

We have a Fordson super major tractor 1964...

Farmer Green is going to get his arm broken. I have a tractor with a crank, but I keep a charger/maintainer on the battery. When I have started it by crank I start at 12:00 and make one quick thrust down to 6:00 and pull it out in one fluid motion. There is a bevel that is supposed to throw the crank out. I keep it greased. And I don't wrap my thumb around. Farmer Brown seems to have Coon dogs judging by the dog box on the trailer.

Now days tractor's trucks and cars you need 10 thousand dollars worth of tools and computers and collage degree to work on them. So simpler back then
